Hello! My name is cupcakes and I do not have a fancy cover for my one-shot!
So I'm really, really, new at Doctor Who fanfics and I'm quite scared. Everybody has brilliant writing and well, I'm just trying to get out of my shell and try new fandoms.
I apologize ahead of time if I get any of my facts wrong. I'm really bad with remembering things!
So I hope you enjoy my one-shot!
Clara was shoved up against the wall of her ship. The sirens started blasting in her ears along with some shouts from outside the door. She gripped the chairs and squeezed her eyes shut.
"Mum! Dad!" She yelled. She could hear the faint yell of stress from her father but as soon as it came it disappeared.
"Dad!" she yelled once more. The ship jerked backwards and she fell out the door way, where Daleks were moving about. She stood up quickly and saw her room not too far away.
"Exterminate!" The mechanical voice yelled. Clara turned around to come face to face with a Dalek.
The laser shot straight right at her, hitting her in the chest. She let out a strangled cry and fell to her knees. The Dalek moved on.
Clara's world became blurry. She gripped her chest and groaned. She stood up and pushed her platinum blond hair back.
'I have to get to the room.' Clara thought. She staggered towards the door and pressed her hand to the identifier. The door opened and she slipped in, falling to the floor. The door behind her locked once it was closed.
Clara allowed a few tears to run down here face before she heard a familiar voice.
"Clara, it's going to be alright." She opened her eyes to come face to face with her older sister Jenny.
"Jenny?" She asked.
"Don't worry." Jenny said. Her sister gripped her arms and kissed her forehead.
"Dad told me in this kind situation, it's better to have a friend there. So I'm going to help you through your first regeneration." Jenny said.
"B-b-but, I don't want to go!" Clara yelled in pain. Jenny hugged her sister.
"Let the pain free and make yourself feel…numb." Jenny explained. Clara nodded. She squeeze dher eyes shut and let herself go rigid.
Clara felt the comforting arms of her sister let go. Clara opened her eyes and found herself glowing with a golden light.
"What's happening?" Clara asked.
"You're alright. It's going to be okay." Jenny said.
Clara shut her eyes once more and let everything go. She felt a sudden burst of energy and everything went numb. She threw head back and yelled.
Jenny watched as her sister transformed into a new person. Clara fell to the ground, asleep.
"Did I forget to mention the first one makes you a bit sleepy?" Jenny asked her sister. Jenny laughed at her own bad joke. "When you wake, up you'll be a whole different person. How's about the name Oswin? Oswin Oswald. Yeah, odd name, just how dad likes it." Jenny said.
"When you wake up, don't be scared." Jenny said and stroked her sister's new glossy brown hair. "Dad will come and save you."
"I don't know how old or young he will be, but you'll know." Jenny said with a smile. She let her sister sleep on the ground. Jenny walked up to the door and opened it up.
"You are the Doctor's daughter, aren't you?"
Don't throw a tomato! I had a hundred ideas of how this could play out but this is the one I liked the best. I've always imagined Jenny and Oswin/Clara to be sisters. Before you ask why Oswin name is Clara, it's because she's playing the new companion, and her name's Clara.
