"BOY!" The bellow of his uncle awoke the sixteen year old from his grief, as he sighed and stood. Walking down the stairs, Harry sighed again thinking ' And it was such a perfectly normal day, too..'
However, when he reached the bottom of the stairs, Vernon Dursley clambered - or attempted to ( more like rolled in Harry's opinion)- out of his chair and towered over him. Not that difficult, seeing as Harry was only 5'8 - but slightly funny seeing as his Uncle was only 5'9 1/2. So in Harry's opinion it was like a cockroach trying to intimidate a flee..
Tuning back into the one sided argument , Harry was amused to hear " You were outside " and "threatening Dudley!". Raising his eyebrows, Harry sneered " Uncle if you have so much as a brain, in that thick skull of yours.. Then you would realise I have not so much as left my room until now, this summer."
Vernon, hearing what he thought was a threat - decided to face it head on and grabbed Harry by the hair. Then dragging him upstairs, threw him into his room and beat him.
Four hours later, Harry still hadn't regained conciouness , so his ' Relatives' threw him in the car and dropped him off the White Cliffs of Dover complete ly unaware that a certain sea goddess had seen this and decided to do something about it.

Harry drifted in and out of consciousness as he floated through the warm waters of the Caribbean, completely unware that a pirate ship was headed his way.
Five hours later, a voice broke through his stupor and called out " Cap'n! There's someone in the water!"
Lifting his head slightly, the teen accidentaly swallowed water and choked - coughing, causing him to miss part of the conversation on the ship. Until he heard, " Bring him aboard! " causing marry to pass out, as he was lifted up by the crewmen of the Pirate Ship.
