"Ahhhh!"
Naomi Walker sat up in bed, breathing heavily.
"It was only a dream," she muttered.
Nightmares have been happening to everyone since the war had ended 3 months ago, Naomi especially.
Naomi was found by her little brother Allen when the Order realized that there had been almost no akuma or akuma sightings that were there but gone when the exorcists arrived.
It was only a year ago.
Now, since the war's over, everyone can sleep in peace right? Apparently not. At first, the Order thought it was because of Rhode, the ex-Noah,(all of the Noah became good when the Earl was defeated) but then realized that Rhode can't make nightmares over a long distances. Still, nightmares plagued Naomi and she would do anything to stop them.
"Tyki," Naomi whispered, getting out of bed quietly.
Tyki Mikk, ex-Noah and Naomi's boyfriend, was always good at chasing away her nightmares. It's like his presence is all it takes for her nightmares to leave.
Naomi, quietly, opened her door. Looking both ways, she creeped out and made her way to Tyki's room. When she got there, Naomi stood outside his door and took a deep breath.
"I hope he doesn't mind waking up to his girlfriend in the morning," she muttered.
Naomi opened the door and found Tyki, sleeping peacefully. He was on his left side, right hand placed on the pillow, and mouth opened slightly and snoring quietly. Naomi smiled and walked carefully to the bed. Being careful not to wake up Tyki, she slid in his bed, facing him. Naomi pulled the covers over herself and fixed the covers that fell off Tyki's shoulders. She looked at him one last time before falling into a deep slumber.
The next morning
Sunlight covered the room with its beautiful glow. Tyki opened his eyes, however, to an even more beautiful sight.
Allen's older sister.
His girlfriend.
Naomi Walker.
He smiled and scooted closer to her. Tyki brushed some of silver hair out of her face. Naomi was frowning.
"Being plagued with nightmares aren't we?" he whispered.
Naomi's response was her snuggling closer to Tyki.
"Well, don't worry," Tyki whispered, giving her a gentle kiss, "I will protect you and keep the monsters away."
Tyki hugged Naomi close.
"And that's a promise."
