Just an idea that popped into my head one day. Trust me that doesn't happen often. Anyway please read and review.

The beginning has the flashback that you usually see in the manga volumes. The one where her mom is walking away and Kyoko is crying and running after her. Yeah…that one. ENJOY!!

Let's begin the story:

Flashback:

Kyoko's mother walked off after she had given Kyoko to the Fuwa family. Without another word, or a single goodbye she turned her back to her only and mistreated daughter and walked down the stone path from the entrance of the Inn.

Tears began to well up in Kyoko's eyes as she escaped the hands of Sho's parents and began chasing after her mother. Sho hesitated then ran after her.

"Mother!" Kyoko screamed her tears were being blown off her face as she ran as fast as her legs could hold out. Her mother didn't look back, or even stop. "Mother please don't go! I'll be a good girl!" Sho grabbed her wrist to put a halt to her running. Tears fell from her face and she fell to her knees crying. Sho let go of his grip on her, and stood as a deer in the headlights at the sobbing girl. He didn't know what to do, as Kyoko choked out "Mother!" repeatedly between her tears. All he could do was stare.

Present:

In the parking lot of LME, stood her mother who had abandoned her with now the person she declared revenge on. Across her was Kyoko who stood with a face of hurt, sadness, anger, and complete confusion. Behind Kyoko was Sho who had met up with her today.

Her mother stared at her with hard cold eyes. The silence was too much for Kyoko to bare. "Why?" Her mother didn't answer. "You heard me! Why are you here now?" She commanded. Still no answer. Kyoko tried hard to fight back tears.

"Because," Kyoko's head shot up and saw a hard glare aimed at her from the woman who gave birth to her, "I wanted to see what I haven't been missing." Was all she stated as she once again turned and walked on. Kyoko didn't move, when her mother exited the parking lot. But she couldn't stay still for too long. Tears escaped her eyes and ran freely one by one down her cheeks. "Mother!" She again choked out as she bolted toward her mother. She headed for the exit of the parking lot, when Sho raced after her.

"Please don't leave!" Kyoko cried when Sho grabbed her wrist, and she knelt to the hard asphalt. Tears enveloped her cheeks, and traveled down to the ground. Sho did not let go of her like he did when he was little.

I won't let her cry alone like this! Sho thought when he put his other hand on her back and pulled her wrist and pushed her towards him. Sho hugged her small body tightly, and moved his hand up to the back of Kyoko's head as he dug her balling face into his chest. He loosened a little so he wouldn't suffocate her. "You won't have to cry alone any more Kyoko because I'll be here for you now when you need me." He whispered in her ear as she continued to sob, but now it was more like hiccups. He gently placed a soft kiss to her forehead proving he was telling the truth and he placed his chin at the top of her soft chestnut colored hair. He let her cry in his chest for as long as she needed, little did he know most of her crying was now because of happiness rather then sadness.
