Hey I'm planning on a series of stories of G1 stories based on an alternate Season 3. I'm looking for story ideas from Transformers fans.
Top Rules of Transformers Alternate Season 3
Season is set between 1986 and 1987. Autobots will be stationed both in the Ark and Autobot City. Decepticons will be stationed in their undersea base and Trypticon's station.
Characters used will from season 1-3 including those from the movie. This will include Hot, Rod, Ultra Magnus, Galvatron and Cyclonus. (there will be late season appearances from Terrorcons, Technobots, Throttlebots, cassettes Overkill and Slugfect and Sixshot)
There will be 65 episodes like season 2. Will give opportunity for a day in the limelight for both Autobots and Decepticons.
Matrix is an integral part of the season. It is discovered to also be key to Vector Sigma
Doesn't follow timeline of the movie (ex. popular characters like Optimus Prime, Ironhide and Wheeljack don't die, Unicron may or not be used)
Quintessons will make their presence known
Popular characters from previous seasons (ex. female Autobots, Dr. Arkeville, Nightbird, Lord Chumley) will make appearances. As well as cameo appearances from GI Joe
Two episodes from season 3 will definitely be retconned (Thief in the Night and Grimlock's New Brain)
The Autobots and Decepticons will team up several times due to the Qunitessons.
Episodes will more lighthearted vein then season 3. In the same as season 2 (with some serious episodes).
Here are two planned stories to give an idea for Season 3
Defensor's Day- On their day off the Protectobots decide to give it to Defensor. He is treated as an equal member of the Protectobot team and they want him to do what he wants. Unfortunately he is too big to socialize with the other Autobots and the ones his size (Superion, Omega Supreme) aren't interested in fun. When he goes into the city with Spike, Carly and Bumblebee he hopes to mingle with the humans but he is too large and his appearance makes them fear of a Decepticon attack. The Combaticons and Terrorcons see Defensor down and use that as an opportunity to defeat him, as well as the perfect opportunity to settle the bet who is more powerful Abominus or Bruticus.
World Series of Monacus- When Megatron notices that Dead End has unbelievable good luck and skill in card games he has Astrotrain send him, the other Stunticons, Swindle and Octane to Monacus take part in Intergalactic Poker Tournament and win the Million Energon Cube Prize. The Autobots are alerted to the tournament by Smokescreen's friend Bosch. He goes with Trailbreaker, Mirage and Hot Rod in Sky Lynx to prevent the Decepticons from winning. While on Monacus Hot Rod is easily allured by the glitz and loses all his energon. He has to rely on Smokescreen winning the prize. Dead End dominates the tournament, amazingly without cheating. Fellow Stunticon Drag Strip is jealous of his luck and makes it look like Dead End cheated. After being disqualified the Decepticons begin to attack but are repelled by the Autobots with assistance from Devcon. In the end the prize is held up until next year but Trailbreaker saves the day for Hot Rod by winning a big jackpot!
