(A/N: Cloud's POV)
I looked at her. She is now ready and proper. My eyes fixed upon her as she gave me that smile of hers.
"Okay, now I'm ready!" she told me.
I could only nod to her as we made it through the door.
Outside, the gang is waiting for us. Barret waved over to me, while Tifa smiles at me. Tifa is beautiful, as usual. One year passed since Vincent defeated Omega. But, I find that I still cannot love Tifa. She is strong, full of love and caring towards the other members of AVALANCHE, and I still cannot love her. I had learned of her love for me that griefstricken day of Aeris death. The angelic flower girl had told me just before she took her last breath.
It makes me wonder why has my feelings been dragged to the noisy,
hyperactive, ninja princess, who stands by my side. Barret once asked me,whether I'm going mad or not. He told me that both Tifa and Aeris are a lot better than Yuffie. Yet, truthfully I am falling for Yuffie. I can see the princess grinning at our group after I tilted my head to face her.
(Normal POV)
"Sorry I'm late!" Yuffie exclaimed.
She manage to run to them, but tripped over a rock, only to fall onto her butt. She moan a little and then looked up at them with a flushed face.
"Man!" Cid grumbled, "When will you grow up, girl?"
Before any of them could do anything,Vincent the most silent man in the whole group steps out of the crowd and offered his human hand to the princess. With a still noexpressionlook on his face, of course. Yuffie thought for a moment and then took it, with an even redder face. Vincent helped her to her feet. At this the group went silent.
"Gezs, thanks Vince." Yuffie said to him.
He responds with a nod. After that he turned to the gang again. Mean while,
Yuffie and the rest of the members of AVALANCHE were still silently surprised by Vincent's action. Tifa had to cover her smile with her palm, trying to hide her thoughts that the dark gunman had a 'cute' crush on the bright princess.
"Ok now let's waste no more #&ing time and get GOING!" Cid yelled, as he is the first one to ran to the Shera.
A few seconds later, the whole gang followed the bad mouthing pilot. Cloud Strife and Vincent Valentine were the only men, who still had the pretty ninja on their minds as they went up onto the air ship.
