Disclaimer: I own my laptop, my car, my blackberry, and my dad left his business to me, but, unfortunately, my dad's business was NOT Degrassi. What a Tragedy.

[Summary: ] Everyone knew. Well, almost everyone knew. There was two people in the world I hadn't gotten around to telling. My parents.

A/N: This one shot is dedicated to the wonderful MrStavrosPark. Not smut. I would feel awkward writing that. But it's full of fluff! Kind of like Ziley had a pillow fight in my word document.

Zane, I think they're ready for you.

Everyone knew. Well, almost everyone knew. There was two people in the world I hadn't gotten around to telling. My parents. As far as Zane knows, they know. I couldn't bring myself to tell him I couldn't spit it out, to break their hearts. It was easy to fool him. He was here when they weren't, gone before they arrived. I told him my parents didn't quite approve of the lifestyle chosen for me. I definitely planned on telling them sooner or later, I just had to figure out how and when.

Studying. That's what we told my mom we were going to be doing when she left for the store. Yet here we were, sitting on the couch in my living room with no books or papers. The TV was on, but as a faint sound in the background. We were teasing each other, small kisses here and there. Giggles escaped each mouth between, like a game played in a courtyard. His gentle fingers moved lightly from my hips to my waist, earning more giggles as he touched a tickle spot. Smiles played on our lips, each grinning from ear to ear. But, unfortunately, the moment had to be ruined.

"Zane, we should stop. My mom could come home at any moment." I pierced Zane's brown eyes with my blue between kisses. "You still haven't told them?" His body pulled away from mine. I shook my curls lightly, earning a disappointed response, "I can't keep sneaking, Riley. It's like school all over again. I thought we were past this." His voice pierced at my heart with all the disappointment. "I promise, I'll tell her tonight." I kissed his lips chaste. A smile played upon Zane's lips, which soon disappeared when I pulled away, hearing the front door open. I sat up straight on the couch, straightening out my shirt.

"Like now?" His eye brows rose as his eyes got wide. "Now what, dear?" My mother's face appeared in the room. Zane's face had a "If you don't tell her, I will" expression, causing a slight blush to appear on my face. "Uh, Mom, I have something important to tell you. And it's best if you, uh, if you sit down." She complied, taking a seat on the rocker across the room, looking at me with curious eyes. Zane placed his hand on my back, rubbing circles with his thumb over my spine. I grabbed his free hand with both of mine, eyeing the coffee table. I took a deep breath, closing my eyes, searching for the words. I could feel her two eyes on me like a spotlight on a stage actor. Finally, I opened my mouth, spilling out the words I was afraid to admit to my own flesh and blood, "Me and Zane... Zane and I, we're a couple. I'm um, I'm gay." I couldn't look up. I couldn't look to see the hurt in my mother's face.

All my life, she told me how much she wanted to be a grandmother, with grand babies running around every which way. I noticed her feet plant on the floor, her weight shifting to them, "We'll talk about this when you're father gets home." There was hurt and confusion in her voice. My eyes met Zane's as I gave him a glare of death. He caused me to hurt my mother's feelings.

[to be continued!]

[Good Bye : ] So this is only the first half. I figure I made y'all wait long enough for Ziley that I'll post this and then start the second half when I get back to Canada.
