You scorn them as fools, when you look into their smiling faces. You scorn their merry attitude and drinking and dancing in the evenings under the stars and heavy leaves of the trees. You think they are irresponsible and flippant. After all, how can they be so gay when their land is closing in on them? How they dare to be so heedless of things that can happen and happens?
You know and see nothing.
It is their songs that help to wipe away the tears they have shed for their loved ones that will not return. It is their dances that help them to face the darkness at the dawn and fight for their land and lives. It is their smiles under the starlight that keep the darkness of DolGuldur at bay not a magical trinket on someone's finger. It is for the land on which they dance and of whom they sing the songs, which they fight for.
Do not begrudge them an evening of peace, forgetfulness and gayness. For when the dawn comes, they will protect, they will fight and they will die, without a single regret for the one evening of joy they had before and hope to have at least one more time.
Do not speak of things, you know not.
