Four months was all it took for me to fall for him. He was the one person I thought wouldn't betray me, but he did. He said I was the only one, but I wasn't. He made promises about our life together and what would happen in the future. But I knew it was too good to be true. As long as he was still with her he would never be just mine.
I thought he loved me but I guess love can only go so far. When things first started out it was all good until she came back into the picture. I should have left when I first saw the signs but I stuck it out thinking he would change but it just got worse as time went on. I thought if I showed him enough attention he would move on from her but it seems like I was just pushing him farther more into her arms.
I was so stupid to think I was the only one but he had both of us wrapped around his finger and as much as I knew that it was bad for me and unhealthy, I wanted more from him. He was my everything but I guess I wasn't his. I tried to move on but everywhere I went he was there with her rubbing it in my face that we could never be together.
