Black Star Rising

It was night in Kamigawa, the perfect time for his type to be out among the champions. The fact that they had trained in ninjitsu and had become a journeyman should not have labeled them as the betrayers of the land. Akari looked around in his shinobi outfit, his hair a dark gray-almost-black, blowing around his back. He searched the grounds with two liquid orbs of golden copper. His pure gray wolf ears searching for any sounds.
His eyes fell on his friend Skye, her short black hair slightly moving against her shoulders. Like him she wore a blue shinobi outfit. Her gray ears poked out slightly as well. They both used a bow staff, mist blade katana, and throwing daggers. Their sandals were off to the side. Akari jumped down and slightly nudged Skye with his foot.
"What is it?" moaned Skye.
"We need to get moving, get some food maybe."
"I'm getting up."
Skye stretches while waking up. They could not stay long in the area, due to the shinobi outfits. Skye looked around her golden copper wolf eyes taking in every detail. They had attempted to learn the ways of the champions, these samurai. They were found to be shinobi after the order of the mist, so they were unable to stay. Leaving with the knowledge of charka and such had made them above all journeymen. The massacre of the champions had caused this.

The five legendary champions had finished training their new students. Out of nowhere, however,

Three elite level ninjas appeared with a mist rising around them. The three attacked and killed forty students almost instantly. They proceeded to disappear in the rising mist. Since this event's happening Skye's and his type were not allowed in the towns. So instead they were headed towards the temple of mists. Akari hoped to continue their training there as journeymen. He hoped to make it there alive. From the current town they had hidden in it was forty miles to the temple of mists. This of course was not including the dangers that lay ahead with full trained shinobi on the road. He hoped to make enough money off the bloody jobs he knew him and Skye would be given to keep them steady. He looked over at Skye as they got their sandals on, and shouldered their packs. As they ate their Elven Waybread and headed on their way, he wondered if they would ever be normal people.

Ok so what did you guys think this one appeared in my head at school Skye is one of my best friends so yeah lol. Oh by the way please no flames just reviews.
