It wasn't always happily ever after. I'm the only one who seems to remember that. When Motherboard found us, it was truly a frightening place. I think she used most of her power changing us. First it was Red and the wolves she hunted. Red was a sociopath and no one would have lived to deny it. She lured the wolves into trysting with her before she killed them. The Giant stalked every human in the land. The King was a madman who took no prisoners. Once Motherboard expended most of her power on 'vaccinating' them, she had very little left for me. I watched the land I knew transform into a mindless copy of the other areas of cyberspace. It was not as though I had loved it, but it took power to live there. Now anyone with an eighth of a brain could move in and be welcomed. I was never as evil as most people had thought. I just had to go back to the old way. After all, what comes after Happily Ever After?
