"Emma", Peter yelled, "Hurry the fuck up!"
"I'll be up in 5 minutes!" Emma yelled back as she put on her HCO ripped jeans.
She carefully grabbed a pair of pink pointy shoes from her shoe rack and pulled her white shirt with pink outlined hearts over her head. She grabbed her purse and ran up the basement stairs into her kitchen where Peter was waiting for her.
"About fucking time", Peter snarled at her.
Emma ignored him and turned to look at her Mother who already had a bottle of corona in her hand.
"Mom, don't forget I won't be home till late tonight, i have play rehearsal", She told her Mother.
"You kids call it play rehearsal now - a - days? No Em, i know what my whore of a daughter will be doing. And won't be rehearsing for a damn play", Her Mother said harshly.
Emma just ignored her Mother and walked out the door. Peter stopped and gave his Mother a kiss on the cheek and then also went out the door.
"Such a good boy", Spike said to herself.
Emma had tears rolling down her cheek when Peter got in the car.
"Suck it up Em, I don't want to be embarrased", Peter told her with a look of disgust.
Emma looked at her twin brother with a look of disdain.
Only a year ago they were a happy family. A loving happy family. Before her younger sister Bailey was raped and killed. Before Snake left to be with another woman. Before Spike started to drink her sorrows away. Before Peter began street racing, hanging out at the ravine, and taking drugs with Jay and Sean. Only a year ago.
Emma was lost in thought as they pulled into the ravine parking lot.
"Get out", Peter said coming to an arubt halt.
Emma did as she was told and started walking towards the school.
"Damn Peter, Your sister is looking hott", Sean said shaking Peter's hand.
"Don't fuck with my sister Cameron", Peter threatened him.
Sean just scowled at Peter and begin to talk about some other trailer trash whore that he had hooked up with.
"It's not like you actually give a damn about her", Jay told Peter.
"Thats none of your business", Peter told Jay getting Angry.
"Whatever", Jay said running off in the direction Emma took off in.
"Hey", Jay said when he caught up with Emma.
Emma jumped and let out a slight squeal.
"Woah, hey it's just me, are you alright", Jay said coming to stand in front of Emma.
"Oh Jay, I'm fine. I just really need to get to school. Please don't let Peter see you talking to me. Please!" Emma said as she ran towards the school at full speed.
