Disclaimer: I do not own the 3 Ninjas, the characters in the film franchise or even anything mentioned from or related to the movies. I solely own my imagination + the main OC's don't belong to me. This WAS originally requested by a fellow Wattpader & I won't name names unless asked too. I did write a similar story before, but it was rushed and held lack of humor.

Forgot to mention I don't own or personally know the band of 5 Seconds of Summer. I do love their music and, feel like they'd be good guys to chill with. No, I don't mean anything dirty either. Please keep your hands in feet in the vehicle at all times; down to your side.

WaRnInG: I will try my best on the humor in this. There's not much warning in this aside from the slight cuss words, and use of martial arts...maybe-haven't gotten good at that yet.

Side note: I've written, attempted to rewrite and deleted this story under different titles for the past 3 years, but I feel more confident in writing it this time. I didn't have a plan for this on where it would head in the beginning. It's going to be a new series with probably three books. Juggling high school (for the part I went) is not fun so please enjoy and, remember to stay positive in a dark world.

This is all you're getting for now. 😝

A thirteen year old female had her nose stuck in a book. Her tongue, peeking from her mouth in hard concentration. She sat outside of a cabin, belonging to an old man who happened to be training his three grandsons to become ninjas. The dark haired girl opted to train with her best friend, hoping to be like them. She'd even been given a ninja name by the old coot.

"Lilly!" A familiar male voice called, causing her almond brown eyes to narrow; knowing his next actions. A scrawny boy her age with grey green eyes, pulled the book from under her nose. He has nice caramel brown hair in a neat manner whereas the light caramel of his skin was tan.

"Colt!" Lilly barked, attempting to grab the book from his reach.

An amused smirk appeared on his mischievous features. He was the middle child of three and, he usually was in a bad mood; compared to his older brother. He mocked his friend, grinning like the cheshire cat, "Lilly!"

Scrunching her nose up, she got to her feet. She whipped around to glare his way while her hands angrily settled on her hips. "Give my book back!"

Colt snickered, shaking his head. "Or what?"

The tiny girl came from a household; consisting of three brothers. She had two older brothers and, a younger brother. The question her best friend posed wasn't one he should have asked. She quirked an eyebrow at him in deep thought. "Do you really want to find out?"

Colt tilted his head to the blue skies to think it over. He didn't get a chance to respond when the girl swept his feet from underneath him. He crash landed onto the dirt of leaves, losing grip on the book.

Lilly caught the book mid-way in the air. A triumphant smile on her face as she giggled at him. She crouched down next to him, "serves you right, my little pony."

Frowning to himself, Colt got back onto his feet. He began dusting off his clothes, taking her in differently.

The girl came from a mixed background of Japanese, Hawaiian, Italian, English. She watched her best friend nervously rub the back of his neck.

A clapping noise startled the young teen into turning a shade of rose pink; upon catching sight of five familiar figures.

"You go, Makayla!" Jack Braxton proudly beamed. He stood a few inches taller than his baby sister. The boy was fifteen years of age with short chestnut brown hair and, hazel red eyes. He liked to be rough whereas John frowned.

John Braxton was a year older than Jack. His dark brown hair was styled neatly atop his head, hazel eyes almost a light green. He liked to be the know it all while barely eating. He also liked to maintain his reputation. "I disagree with the-"

"Colt got beat by a girl!" Tum Tum cut John off. A toothy smirk placated his freckled face. He was the same age as Jeb Braxton; approximately nine years of age. He had dark brown hair and, dark green eyes. He was annoying, and the younger brother of Colt.

Colt scowled at his little brother.

Jeb Braxton wore a smirk, high fiving his best friend beside him. His light brown eyes sparkling with amusement. His light brown hair was enough to showcase he was different from the rest of his siblings.

"I came to wish Lilly a happy birthday." Rocky chimed in. A slight smile, gracing pale features. He was the oldest of the Douglas brothers with suave sandy blonde hair, and green blue eyes.

Colt bore an offended look. He shook his head, "it's my birthday too!"

Jack snorted, shaking his head in disbelief. He'd lose his head if it weren't already attached. "Does everything have to revolve around-"

"The blue ninja?" John finished for Jack happily. He got a fired look of glareful daggers. He went to innocently shrug.

Colt groaned, annoyed at the question. He went to protest when Rocky spoke instead.

"Anything for attention." Rocky joked, further ticking off his middle brother.

Colt scowled, wishing he could have some alone time with his best friend. His eyes flickered to a smirking Lilly who was barely holding in fits of laughter.

"I don't-"

"It's why you always go on about spending time with Mak!" Jeb happily chirped, causing Colt to blush a new shade of red.

Lilly held in her laughter. Her breath monetarily hitched in the back of her throat. She didn't think she heard her baby brother correctly. Clutching, her stomach tightly she crouched in front of Jeb. "Little brother, what did I tell you about taunting someone using false accusations?"

John rolled his eyes. "Mom scolded us with that. Not you!"

Lilly stuck her tongue out at her older brother. "I am your mother!"

Of course, the ninja girl was just kidding.

Jack bore an offended look. He went to lean against the doorway without realizing he was far from it. He face planted into the nearby cherub, causing tiny scratches to highlight his face of freckles. He moaned from the pain, sticking a hand out for someone to help him up. "Mother, your son has fallen and cannot get up!"

The group of misfits burst into laughter at his words while Colt remained cold and, blushing like a madman.

Colt bawled up his fists, storming into the cabin of one bedroom. He knew the parents of the Braxton children would be picked up soon, but he didn't care. He'd see his best friend at their new high school. He was fully aware that he'd be attending the same school as his big brother along with John, and Jack.

Lilly tugged Jack to his feet. A smile splitting her features upon the mystified look on his paling features. She arched an eyebrow at him. "You got something on your mind you wanna share?"

"You're strong for a tiny thirteen year old!" Jack quipped, stepping over to their oldest brother. He dared not spare his baby sister a second glance. For, he had been unaware of her superhuman strength.

Lilly smirked in amusement. She folded her arms over her light blue tee shirt.

"In the earlier words of Makayla Braxton, serves you right." Rocky shifted on his feet. He grew anxious at the new information.

Scoffing, John shook his head. "We've all had a bit of training today."

Rocky narrowed his eyes at the everloving bookworm. "You've had your nose stuck in a book the majority of the time. The rest of us have been lightning on our feet."

Lilly nodded her head in agreement. She chanced a glance at her book she'd been reading. She began to daydream about the Clace and Malec scenes. She shrugged it off, stuffing the book into her tiny black backpack of clothing. She was about to head inside to say a quick goodbye to Colt when their parents arrived in a grey minivan.

Narrowing his eyes at the green ninja, John was about to argue in return. "The summer is the only time I have to read as many books as possible!"

"Yeah, before school starts up!" Jack angrily countered.

"Where you become jock again!" Jeb and Tum Tum shouted at the older boy in unison. Exchanging, quick goodbyes the boy scurried to the vehicle.

Frowning, Lilly sent Rocky an apologetic look. "Tell my birthday twin I'll see him around."

"Sure thing!" Rocky chirped.

"Birthday twins!" Tum Tum called in repeat to Lilly. He went inside the cabin, shortly followed by Rocky himself.

Lilly reluctantly got into the van. A sad nagging feeling stirred in her heart. She knew the new year would be different.

···

"Lils!" The mother of the four Braxton siblings happily grinned. Her hands were clasped together in excitement. She had brought her daughter to the basement, considering they owned another.

The family of four lived in a two story home of luxurious riches. Yes, they weren't rich, but they owned the finer things they could afford in a thrift store or antique shop.

The thirteen year old didn't mind. Her oldest brother had a difference of opinion. "Mom, where are we going?"

Her mom beamed; a happy smile on her face. She flipped on the light switch to bring a blinding white light into the former basement. "You can look!"

Lilly slowly forced one eye open. Her eyes grew wide at the sight of a lavender and pink bedroom; consisting of a queen sized bed, a dark brown oak dresser with a matching vanity table. The floor was covered in fluffy white carpet with pastel pink walls. Her bed sheets were lavender as were her pillows.

"Mom, this is incredible!" exclaimed the cheery eyed girl. Her heart went into overdrive at the sight of a few 5SOS posters lining the walls. She turned to her mother, tossing her hands around the woman.

Her mother wore a content smile. "Glad you like it. This is your birthday present! Your father mostly did the decorating. I didn't know you liked a boy band."

Lilly snorted, smiling at her mother. "They are far from a boy band."

"Well, we figured you'd like your own privacy from Jeb. He wants to have his friends over so we discussed this alot." Her father happily strode into the room. He knew it was worth it to see the happiness, radiating from his baby girl.

Lilly almost laughed at the plural her father used for the only friend her baby brother had. She loved him to pieces, but most kids avoided Jeb like a disease which she really hated. She'd threaten anybody she caught picking on Jeb.

Jeb refused to let the bullies get him down which made them all prouder. It's how he had befriended Tum Tum and, another kid called Patrick.

"I love it, mom, dad. Thank you so much!" Lilly happily squealed. She couldn't have been happier if she tried in that moment. She was about to get another major surprise along the way. She just didn't know it yet.
