As Caroline sat at the table with Matt, Elena and Bonnie she couldn't believe what her best friend was saying let alone actually consider doing it. This was people they were talking about, people who had families and people who cared about them. And yet here she sat at the table and hearing the words that were coming out of Bonnie's mouth. The fact hat she was going to go through with this was outrages and so out of character for her. Shane had gotten to her, changed her and Caroline didn't like it one bit. In fact just as she was about to protest to this whole idea the phone rang. It was April calling about Jeremy and the look of hurt that took over Elena's face almost broke Caroline's heart and right then she knew this was just too much; everything was happening too fast and her mind was swimming with emotions and worry over what was happening to her friends, to her family and to Tyler. She had almost forgotten about him and she had to call him, had to make sure she was okay so she stepped out the house and dialed his number and waited as the phone rang and when she was sent to voicemail she knew something was wrong. Slipping inside and grabbing her thing Caroline rushed to her car and speed down the road to get to Tyler's house the whole way there her mind was racing with worries of Klaus finding him. As she pulled up to the porch the words that Klaus and spoken to her earlier flashed back into her memory and mind "It was all for you Caroline, everything I did was all for you." A scoff fell from her plush lips as if he meant any of it. Klaus was a monster with no sense of morals and feelings and least of all respect. I mean did he really think he had a chance with her, after everything he'd done to her and the one's she loved? Knocking on the door was no use noone came to the door and she felt a sinking feeling take over her as she jumped back into her car and made her way home.

As Klaus made his way off the Gilbert porch his mind was filled with the way Caroline reacted to his confession to her. He had bent every rule he ever had for this one girl. And yet she still picked that mutt Tyler over him and it sent rage thought his body. Then suddenly he was struck with an idea. What if he

killed Tyler and made it look like an accident after he all he was very good at this. Then he would be the one she would seek from, he would be the shoulder she would cry on. The idea brought a smug grin on his face as he hoped into his car. Oh this was going to be fun.

_ Caroline walked through her front door to find her house empty which was just grate, not only was she alone, but she was alone and scared. A soft groan passed though her lips as she made her way up to her bed where she flopped down on her back and covered her face with her dainty hands. All she wanted was to forget this day, forget all the events that took place and the only way to do that was by taking a nice, long, relaxing hot shower. Walking over to her closet she picked out her pink silk pajamas and made her way into the tiled floor bathroom where she lay out a towel and undressed as she stepped into the raging flow of hot water. Allowing her head to fall along the shower wall as the warm water ran down her pale skin she was feeling the day slipping away allowing herself to get lost in the tranquil relaxation that the shower brought to her. Grabbing the body wash and shampoo she washed and bathed herself in her body wash she got from Bath and Beyond and just as she was steeping out she heard her phone right. Quickly she warped the towel round her naked figure and she dashed to her phone seeing that the call was from Tyler's phone and she felt a release wash over her because that meant he was safe. Accepting the call she answered with glee "Tyler you're okay I was so worried where did you run off to?" However the voice that replied was not Tyler's and suddenly her green hues widen.
