It was hard keeping on a eye on the princess of Saillune. Even after that fateful night so many months ago, she still took great pride as being as annoying to Lina as possible.

"Come out!" Lina loudly demanded as she strolled through the thin forest "This part of the woods is dangerous this time of night!" No response. Lina had considered making a joke to get Naga to do her annoying laugh, but that was a stupid idea. Lina tapped her foot before shouting, "NAGA!" The only noise was the echo. How could Naga be so stupid? Might as well do that one trick…"

"GRACIA Ul NAGA SAILLUNE!" Lina bellowed. "GET YOUR BUTT OUT HERE NOW!"

This got Naga out of her hiding place in a nearby bush. Scratching her ear, she stumbled around the tree and got close to the impatient Lina in the clearing. The younger wizard looked Naga over for any damage. Naga looked clean , though her outfit did look a little loose. The normal aggressive Naga looked and posed like a meek individual; she looked down at the ground while playing with her fingers.

But most importantly, her pregnant belly looked intact.

"What were you thinking?" Lina scolded. "You're weak. That baby has drained you of your magic energy…you can't go off alone."

"Yeah." Naga apologized instead of deflecting and making it Lina's fault. "I got bored and needed to take a walk…"

"Without telling me." Lina pointed out before sighing. "At least walk around the town, or if you prefer the woods, at least with me." Lina held out her hand. "Let's head home. I got a stew boiling." Naga reluctantly took the hand and followed Lina back the path to town. The moon had started to rise, so Lina picked up the pace.

"When do you get so responsible?" Naga asked with a rude tone.

"Oh, take a wild guess." Lina grunted out as she had to drag Naga along the dirty path.

"…you never did say where you got that spell." Naga angrily commented.

"I already have forgotten it, so let's drop it."

"Good idea." Naga patted her pregnant stomach.

"Not that." Lina shook her head.

"…Lina." Naga sighed. "I know you want to keep it…and I'm growing on her…but that basically means no more adventures." Before Naga could say anything, she let out a pained breath of air and her knees buckled. Lina directed her to a stone where she could sit down. "Hell, we'll have to…regular jobs."

"Ugh." Lina bemoaned. "Well, we could become protectors of this town. Defend it for a good price and all that?"

"Sure." Naga looked down. "Lina. How long will this last? If we got bored or tired, we might leave…" She got cut off by Lina kissing her on the cheek.

"I have no reason to leave you."

There wasn't any sort of wedding, but they were happy anyway with their new home, the village's money for protection, and their happy, energetic child.
