Chapter 1:
*No One's POV*
The moment when Eira Winter steps out into the everyday snow, tears begin to fall down on her snow white face. Today wasn't her day at all once again. All she wants to do is to hide away from everyone and never come out from the shadows.
She runs into the nearby forest and cry under a tree. Her cries caught the attention of a certain legendary figure.
Jack Frost watches in sadness of the female elf, looking like a human around the age of ten to twelve, crying into the snow behind a near tree. Her black elf dress covers most of her body to the long sleeves and to the knees as the snowy snowflake leggings cover her legs. A black elf hat is on her head as the matching black shoes are on her feet. She's definitely different from the rest in appearance. Long raven black hair falls in waves around her to cover her. It breaks his frosty heart to see her like this. An idea came to mind.
With a simple wave of his hand, snow swirls trail towards the elf and dances around her long hair. It catches her attention. Eria looks up through the tears of her black eyes to see the swirls dancing around her before moving around in the snow. Her eyes widen when she sees the swirls and snow form into a beautiful icy blue rose with hints of frost.
Eira is stunned of it's beauty. She gently takes it by it's long stem.
"Jack Frost?" she asked softly, wondering if it is him.
He smiles, hearing her speak his name in a perfect, smoothing voice. Than a blush appears on his face when he sees the corners of her lips curl up on her face into a beautiful face.
"Thank you," she smiles, still looking at the beautiful rose.
Each day and night since then, Jack Frost will watch over the mysterious elf. He learns that she's indeed different from the rest of the elves, not just in her appearance of clothing. An elf in wrapping with an occasional job of toys that is similar to her. She's very lonely like him with a deep love of the snow and cold.
On each bad day, he will give her an icy rose to cheer her up. In return, she will sing his favorite line of the famou Christmas song. One day, Jack Frost decides to meet her properly, but he has to plan their first meeting perfectly.
He smiles as he remembers the Winter Solstice is coming up in three days.
"In three days, my Winter Goddess," he smiles, watching her working in wrapping.
