There was no doubt that Ryuichi loved Shuichi. The stares, the sighs, it all led to everyone figuring out how much the famous pop star loved the young hit sensation. Everyone knew it, except Shuichi, that is.
The first time that Ryuichi saw Shuichi on stage singing, he fell for him, and he fell hard. No one expected Ryuichi to actually go onto the stage and sing with him, but they created a dynamic duo that nobody, not even Tohma-san, could object to. Ryuichi gave Shuichi an endless amount o confidence, and Shuichi gave Ryuichi the same amount of attention he gave Yuki, if not more attention, especially after the two decided that a mutual breakup would be better for them. And indeed, it was. Ryuichi had finally decided to make a move on Shuichi, and asked him out before he lost his nerve.
Ever since Ryuichi asked Shuichi on a date, everything changed. Shuichi wasn't constantly getting his heart broken, because Ryuichi was always there for him, and that really boosted the performance level of both artists. When Bad Luck's new album was released simultaneously with Nittle Grasper's, they were both on the top charts within two days of the release, especially because the fans had heard about the hook-up between the two lead singers. If you asked anyone in NG, if it was the staff or the actual bands, everyone would say that things had become much better, and that everyone was much happier, especially the two lead singers who had, at the same time, tripped and stumbled into love, and were now happier together.
Even today, a normal day at the NG building, you can find the two walking down hallways holding hands and talking, sometimes even singing.
"Hey Shu-chan?"
"Yeah Ryu?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
