Link in Kanto

When an attempt to free Hyrule from Ganondorf's terror goes awry, Link finds himself in a strange land filled with strange monsters. He is stuck there, but also with a new threat. Ganondorf is in this new land as well, and Link must stop him, though impossible without a daughter of the true light. In other words, he needs Princess Zelda.

Link's POV

Where am I?

I wake up to see myself in a thick forest, unable to see sky.

What happened last? Um, me and Zelda were trying to banish Ganondorf (by use of a harp duet) to another dimension, we opened the portal, Ganondorf grabbed me, I missed a note, we were both dragged in, and Zelda was screaming.

Wait a second! I was in the same dimension as Ganondorf! But, the Guiding Spirit said that song led to an empty dimension, so why is there a forest?

Oh, I screwed up that last note in the song, so it must have done something to mess up the portal.

I quickly checked for my satchel. It was there, and all my stuff seemed to be in it.

This could be bad, I had nothing but my Longshot to fight monsters with.

Just then, I heard something coming.

I quickly Longshot up a tree, and hid.

Then, I could not believe my eyes.

There, followed by a yellow, brown striped rat-like monster, was Princess Zelda.
