Will walked into Common Grounds and as soon as Sonny saw him walk through the door he immediately knew that something was wrong...Will was looking so upset.

"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked as he walked towards Will grabbing his hand and gesturing to him to sit down at the table next to the counter.

"Ummm..." Will started to say in a broken voice "I just overheard your Mum and my Dad talk...about us..."

"Oh,What she did she say now?" Sonny asked as he jumped to the conclusion that his Mum had been slagging Will off again.

Will shook his head..."No it wasn't her this time, in fact she was defending us...no, it was my Dad that is the one who is and I quote 'uncomfortable' with us..."

"Uncomfortable?" Sonny asked confused.

Will cleared his throat before continuing "um, yeah apparently he saw us kissing the other day and he said that he was uncomfortable with it...with us being together or rather uncomfortable at seeing his gay son kiss another guy and that we were rushing things...but your Mum was really nice and saying that he will have to get used to it..."

Sonny smiled at this last remark...he was glad his Mum was finally on board with him dating Will and standing up for him.

Will continued "so I confronted him about the things he said and you know what he said that hurt the most that he still loves me..."

Sonny put his arm around his Boyfriend (although they hadn't actually used that word to each other yet) and replied "I'm sorry, I guess he just needs a little time to adjust, but I am a little surprised he seems so against us all of a sudden..."

Will stared at Sonny in confusion "What do you mean?"

"I never told you this but months ago...just after you were outed and your parents were worried about you continuing to work for EJ, your Dad and I had a conversation, he wanted advise on how to deal...no, maybe that's not the right word...to accept you and the fact that your gay..." Sonny paused but Will stayed quiet so he continued ..."and he asked if I had feelings for you the more than a friend kind...I guess it was written all over my face...so I couldn't deny it!"

Will interrupted with a smile "Really? He knew before I did? What did he say?"

Sonny smiled back and joked "Well if you would let me finish I was going to say..." Sonny paused while he laughed and Will slapped his arm for this cheeky retort and gestured for him to continue.

"Well he thanked me for being honest and I told him that you were still figuring out who you were and that you need to deal with the process at your own speed and that being your friend was the best I could hope for at the moment...he said that if I thought you were worth waiting for then he approves... I told him that I didn't even know if you felt the same way but I meant that to mean, he approves of the idea of you and I potentially dating. "

"Well he may have approved the idea of us dating but in reality...!" Will replied bitterly.

"Give him time Will...it sounds to me that he just freaked out a little at seeing us kissing when he didn't really know that you and I were seeing each other...I mean had you told him that we were dating?"

"Well no, but my Mum knew and I just figured she would have mentioned it..." Will shrugged knowing his Mum was incapable of keeping things to herself and Sonny knew as well as he smiled when Will said that.

Sonny sighed and before he knew it he replied "Maybe he just needs time to adjust to the fact that you have a boyfriend now?" with that Will raised an eyebrow "Boyfriend?" he asked.

"Sorry, I forgot no labels..." Sonny tried to laugh off his faux par.

Will took Sonny's hand and placed it within his, smiled and said "I like being called your Boyfriend..." and with that he planted a kiss on Sonny much to Sonny's surprise and delight.
