Memories

I was just playing the game today and I came up with this
cute idea for a short story. Please R+R, Thanx o^-^o

"So giving me these mud boots, it means you think of me as a friend, right?" Rena
said while tagging along after Dias.
"..."
Rena ran ahead and stopped in front of him. "You gave me a tiara of daisies. I just
remembered that. Remember?"
Dias paused and thought back to 8 years ago.........

"I'm going to the Shingo Forest Mommy!"
Westa peeked down from the top of the stairs. "Well, I don't know... You are only
12, too young to go alone...."
"Dias is going with me Mama! His Mom even said she might let his baby sister
Cecille come too! I'll be fine." Rena leaned back on her heels and smiled.
"I guess that would be okay."
"I'll be going!" Rena called out as she skipped out of the house.
"That girl sure loves the forest."
"Dias! Where's Cecille?" Rena called out as she ran over to Dias, who stood by
the fountain in front of the town shop.
"Mom said that she's too little to come. You bring the cookies?"
"Yeah, lets go." Rena smiled and started pulling Dias by the arm. "Did you see if
Alen could come."
"Yes," Dias lied. He wanted to spend time alone with Rena, without always having
Alen tag along.
"Oh, okay."
"Before we go, I want to give you something, I made it while I was waiting." Dias handed her
a crown of daisies.
"Oh Dias, thank you!" She spun around.
"Dias! Come here for a second, we have to make an emergency trip to Salva, so you two
can't go to the Shingo Woods!" Dias's mother walked out. "Dad has to deliver some of his
work and we're going together. Thief parties rarely attack families, and he thought it
would be safer."
"...Fine... Bye Rena."
"Bye Dias."

"Dias?" Rena asked. "Do you remember?" Dias looked away.
"Lets get going."
