John Watson is painfully aware of the fact that Sherlock Holmes is very observant.

The teen is able to figure out what you watched on the telly/computer the night before by the state of your eyes; what you had for lunch by the stain on your collar; and possibly what you are thinking of at that moment by the twitch of your lips.

Sherlock Holmes is observant. Sometimes too observant for his own good. For with this rare ability to notice the minute details that normal kids, and human beings, overlook or even ignore, and make startlingly accurate deductions from them, it made him terribly arrogant, terribly confident, and terribly...terrible, for lack of a better word.

After hearing about Anderson's opinions on a topic (which was not all correct, for one), Sherlock asked him to shut up, to prevent 'lowering the IQ of the whole class', to quote him. Sally Donovan was once at the receiving end of his deductions regarding her 4 1/2 kg weight gain. The git had also deduced something negative about Greg Lestrade, which made him almost had his face punched in. Luckily John was there to stop the both of them. And let us not get started on the words 'Mycroft' and 'diet'.

John himself is not spared from Sherlock's observation skills. In fact, no one is. Not even the teachers.

However, John Watson knows of someone else that is just as observant as Sherlock Holmes: Molly Hooper.

True, Molly is not as smart as Sherlock, but she is bright. And she is extremely observant when it comes to dealing with people.

The girl will remember your face even if you both have met only once, and possibly your name, if you have given it to her. She is able to recall the conversations she had with you, and bring up one or two anecdotes at times. She is also wholly empathetic, doing her best to understand how you feel at that point in time, and give the most suitable response to special occasions, such as make you laugh, reflect or give you some breathing space. Not many notice this ability of her, for she is also one of the quietest students in school; but John does. People certainly see, but do not observe.

Where Sherlock Holmes is observant in terms of using his brain, Molly Hooper is observant by using her heart.

John is positive Sherlock will find someone who not only rivals his observation skills, but also make him be less of a jerk towards people. And seeing Sherlock working in tandem with Molly in the Literature coursework, with her giving shy smiles and him sneaking intrigued glances at her, he is sure his friend has found his match.

Heh. This was...un-dialogue-ish; I feel weird. Anyway, hope this wasn't too farfetched in terms of their personality; it's my headcanon for teen!Sherlock and teen!Molly :) Oh, just a heads-up; I'll be taking a break from writing as my GCE 'O' Level's starting next month. I hope to maybe do a little clearing in my stories page and give you better-written fics, but till then, thank you so very much for every review and favourite; I know it sounds SOO cliche, but I'm absolutely happy to know you like my simple fics. What's a storyteller without its readers? So, I'll see you when I can, I guess :DDD

PS I've not forgotten about the follow-up ;P
