A/N: I'm back with another story. Plot bunny hit me while I was listening to some Moldy Peaches. Here, have some sickly-sweet Hulk/Hawkeye. All of my Avengers fics are set in the movie!verse, for I have not read any of the comics (yet) So, enjoy.

Thank God for down time, Clint thought to himself as he took a seat beneath a grand oak tree with a grunt, setting his guitar down on his knees. The sky was perfect, not a cloud in sight. The weather was comfortable and birds trilled overhead, forming the perfect audience for him. He hadn't played in a long time, but today, it just felt right.

"You're a part-time lover and a full-time friend, the monkey on your back is the latest trend," Clint hummed, strumming his fingers lightly over the new strings of the old guitar. He had just gotten it re-stringed last Wednesday, one of his favorite parts of owning a guitar. He loved the way the textured cords felt beneath his work-roughened fingers after a hard day.

"I don't see what anyone can see in anyone else but you." Bruce's voice against Clint's was startling. At the sight of Clint's eyes meeting with his, Bruce felt a pang of guilt, thinking he was intruding upon something very personal. Clint's gaze softened and he patted the space of damp earth next to him, beckoning him to sit.

"I kiss you on the brain in the shadow of the train, I kiss you all starry-eyed, my body swinging from side to side," Bruce sang along quietly as Clint continued to play. "I don't see what anyone else can see in anyone else, but you."

"Here is the church and here is the steeple, we sure are cute for two ugly people," Clint sang, hand traveling to meet up with Bruce's, the fingers lacing together.

"I don't see what anyone can see in anyone else but you." And on that note, as the birds quieted to direct their full attention the lovers' next move, a tender kiss was shared as the winds picked up.
