No Ordinary Family

Author's Note: I have watched the entire series of the show, and this story's is part of the episode where stephanie 'See's the future.' This story spins off as if the whole family was in the house, and they all got shot. Except J.J. In this story, when a super dies, the closest relative gains their power. Sorry if i mess/mess up/anything.

J.J's P.O.V

I grasped my chest as i almost collapsed on the ground. I ducked behind a dumpster as two C.I.A agents ran by. Searching. Searching for me. Why? Why did they have to find out about my family? Why couldn't we just live in peace?

My name is J.J Powell. My family and i went on a vacation to brazil, our plane ended up crashing. Giving the entire family Abilities. I kept my secret for as long as i could, having them be proud of me meant to much. It doesn't matter now.

The government killed them all. Yet, the strangest thing happened. When they got shot, i saw some dust come out of their bodies, and into mine. As soon as they fell, i ran. For my life. Five seconds i was at my house, not i am basically across the city grasping at my chest to try and find out what happened.

I need to calm down, my power will not work if i have some extreme emotion going on. Breath J.J, Breath. Finally calmed down, i start to wonder. Why attack the family that could help save the world? Why kill innocent people?

We are not like the other supers, we are kind, we are helpful, we are harmless to those who cannot defend themselves.

"The boy, he must of gone down the alleyway we passed" I swing my head around, hearing nothing. Wait, Daphnes power. Mind reading. Shit, they're coming back. Uh-uh, wait. Dad's power. I breath heavily, hoping this will work. One, two, three JUMP!

I slam into a wall, not having practice on this ability. How i wish i didn't need to have practice. I hid on the roof, where the hell do i go? Where the fuck do i run to? They're all dead, katie's a mom. I can't go their, it would be bad for her and the baby.

Wait. My cousin, Danny. I'll go their.

Un-Know's P.O.V

(A.N: This is not , even though it may sound like it)

"They're dead." I look up at my loyal follower, Josh. We made an agreement, i leave katie and the baby alone, and he comes and works for me.

"The Powell's" I gaped in shock. Poor stephanie, Poor J.J. He was a very handsome boy. He goes to speak again, but i cut him off. "Later, let's go. Meeting time." He sighs, but nods.

*Le Meeting Time*

"Have you heard?" , my good friend, calls across the table. "A pity, the mom was quite the looker." I snicker, Thinking back to josh, "What were you about to say?"

He smiles, "What i was going to say, is that they are not all dead." Everybody gasps in shock, "The boy got away. J.J? Anyways, It seemed when the family died, the boy absorbed their powers. He would be a great asset to us, and with not family. He might actually go for it. One problem, i cannot find him. Katie told me he stopped by, hugged her, and left."

I shrug, "Find him." He nods and leaves, "Now" i turn back to the meeting, "What will we do with our new member when he arrives.?"
