Forever A Medicine Cat- Chapter One
Cinderpaw watched Young Fireheart, her heart beating hard.
He was so perfect and wonderful.
His orange fur glowed in the sun, making it yellow.
Cinderpaw sighed and flicked her tail.
Suddenly she Snapped herself out of her Emotions.
She was a Medicine Cat, Nothing else.
Still, she could help hoping that she was A Warrior.
Yellowfang was watching her.
"Cinderpaw!" She called.
Cinderpaw walked over.
"What is this?" Yellowfang Prompted.
Cinderpaw wasn't looking.
"Um... Fire-leaf?" She mewed, Still looking at Fireheart.
The old Shadowclan Medicine cat snorted.
"It's Yarrow."
Yellowfang watched her gaze.
"Cinderpaw, Keep in mind you are a Medicine Cat."
"I Know!" Cinderpaw snapped. "I Gave my ALL my dreams Long Ago."
She stomped off.
Cinderpelt settled next to Firestar.
"How are Squirrelkit and Leafkit?" She asked, licking her paw.
"Fine. Thanks!" Firestar purred.
"You know," He murmured, "I Never realized how much I Loved Sandstorm Until I Lost her on the way to Skyclan. I Don't Know what I Would do if she..."
He trailed off as Sandstorm walked over with Leafkit stumbling behind her.
"Hey Firestar!" Sandstorm purred.
Cinderpelt blinked and walked back to the Medicine den.
She ducked inside, remembering this is where Yellowfang once worked.
She could still hear the old she-cat's voice echoing on the walls.
Keep in Mind, You are a Medicine Cat...
"I Know..." Cinderpelt murmured with a purr. "I Know."
She pushed her feelings aside.
She would work harder, and Forget all about Firestar.
She looked outside one last time at Firestar, her feelings fading.
"I Am Forever A Medicine Cat."
