…For the Sun Will Shine Again…

The sun shines again. As the most tender blooms of delicate horticulture erupt from the earth each spring, the sun shines again.

They say the day of reckoning will come, and darkness will fall. Light will triumph as it is written so many times over. Perhaps Potter will be victorious. Perhaps not. All I know is that someday, the sun will shine again.

Maybe a "new Potter" will emerge. Break winter's hold on my world.

Until then, I will wait. Wait under this eternal blanket metaphorically called winter, darkness.

Until then, I will wait. For the sun will shine again.

A/N: This is a monologue of sorts from Professor Snape's point of view. I was thinking recently about what life must be like for him, as a known traitor to Voldemort…I don't know. Always on the run, maybe? Well, that's sort of what I was going for here. I don't know if I've captured it right, but I know I've done it in precisely one hundred words. J

*****SALVATION UPDATE*****

Bad news to all Salvation fans…my disk, containing all chapters previously written, a few unposted stories that I really liked, and the beginnings of chapter twelve, will not run. I'm really trying to overcome some MAJOR writer's block and get through stupid computer glitches, along with trying to survive English class and daily basketball practice. SO…in conclusion…I will TRY to get the next part out ASAP, so keep an eye out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who reads this!
