He was sitting alone again…
Which he's done ever since then…
Sometimes he'd let himself dream…
About her eyes' beautiful gleam…
It was the only way he could remember…
The way it was before he left her…
He'd listen to her whine and moan…
In that high pitched and squeaky tone…
He'd get annoyed turn and yell…
"Cut it out will ya? What the Hell?"…
Then she'd scream and call him a jerk…
So he'd ignore her but secretly smirk…
She would stretch his patience so very thin…
But he'd always end up giving in…
Because one day he knew she might have a nice rack…
And that's when he'll ask to be paid back…
For all those times he saved her ass…
He'll take her right there in the grass…
She'll let him have her too…
And every pant will be an, "I love you"…
He'll act tough, but really be gentle…
Because girls like her need "that kind of mental"...
He'll hold her 'til morning comes…
And they'll sleep in like a couple of bums…
Then when they open their eyes…
A dark cloud will begin to rise…
She'll turn to him and smile…
And say they only have a short while…
Before he has to wake from this dream…
Then his tears will begin to gleam…
He'll lean down for one last kiss…
But she's gone, so he'll miss…
Then the illusion will start to grow thin…
And his eyes will fly open, as reality sinks in…
The vivid dream begins to grow paler…
And all he can hear is the snoring jailer…
He'll curse, roll over and declare…
That one day he'll bust his ass outa there…
And find the whiny girl, he loves so much…
And make her his, with just one touch…
Authors Note: Ok… so I'm not really happy with this. I don't think it's nearly as good as The Ballad of Fuu, but it's been in the works for some time now and I wanted it gone from my head. If you look close enough there's a spot, maybe a few spots, where the rhymes seem forced… they were. I don't care though… it's done and over… and I'm happier for it.
Also! The "that kind of mental" is a direct reference to the show itself. The episode when Jin and Mugen are reading Fuus Diary. Jin says, "She's sentimental." To which Mugen replies, "She's what kind of mental?" That's one of my favorite lines from the show, so I felt I needed to include it.
