Chapter 1

"Hotch, Are you sure this is a good idea, letting the girl that helped Foyet out help us?" I could hear Morgan from across the room.

"It's the only chance she's got, since we know what she is. Her powers would be useful to us, and she saved Hayley's life, so i'm grateful to her for that," Aaron said.

"I understand you are grateful, but can she be trusted? I mean, she still likes Foyet," Morgan said.

"Yes, but she isn't completely bad, so I say she's safe to be around," Aaron concluded.

I watched them both walk over to me.

"So, now, Rachel, is it?" asked Aaron.

"Yes, that's my name, yes," I said.

"I need to know what stuff you can do with your powers, 'cause they may come in handy for what I'm about to ask you to do," said Aaron.

"Well, I can see inside peoples' heads and see the future. I can also move stuff with my mind and hands."

At that point, I stopped talking as I got a vision in my head of two men breaking out of prison. I snapped back.

"Did you have a vision just now?" Aaron asked.

"Yes, I did. I think two guys you put away just broke out of prison," I said.

"Which two guys?" Morgan asked.

"Well, I think I heard them call each other 'William' and 'Steven,'" said Rachel.

"William Harris and Steven Baleman?" said Aaron.

"Looks like we are going to Florida. Looks like we get a chance to see you in action," said Morgan.

"See me in action? What do you mean?" I asked.

"A chance to see you test your powers," said Aaron, "Now, a few conditions: You can use your mind-reading and premonitions, but no hands-on magic unless it's to protect someone. Also, no shape-shifting, understand?"

"No problem. I can't shape-shift anyway, yet, although that does sound kind of fun," I said.

"Good," he said, "I'll call Prentiss, Reid and Rossi. Morgan, you contact Garcia."

I knew this would be an adventure. Maybe I could write to George. I wasn't looking to be friends with any of them, but at least they weren't locking me up in a mental institution.

"Hey, Rachel, you coming?" asked Morgan.

"Yes," I said, and followed him out.
