A.N. My last story, 3 people said true but weird comments. Person called
Yucky fic. I have read the books at least ten times. Lassemista who is too
lazy to sign in the books elves do ride bareback, but in the fellowship of
the ring and two towers movie, legolas and other elves were riding with a
saddle. The rings are mine: Gloredhel is a female name. Gloredhel is the
daughter of Hador Lorindol of Dor lomin, try taking a look at the Index in
"the silmarillion" which I have in my hands when I was writing the story.
Battle of Helm's deep *as seen by Legolas Greenleaf*
I looked over the battlements as I stood by the catwalk. There I mused myself with counting the days that had passed since the sundering of our fellowship, when I saw the young, merry hobbits and mocked Boromir's pomposity last. I started to dream about the beauty of Galadriel, the lady of light and the Galadhrim. I wished that I could get through this and see her once again. I drew myself out of my musings then looked around me. There I was amid thousands of brave and noble men who calls themselves the Eorlingas against the foul, cross-bred uruk hai of saruman the betrayer.
The archers loaded their bows when Aragorn gave his signal,Yet they did not fire. They did not even return the laughs, jeers and ridicule hailed at them.
"Fire!" Aragorn yelled. On cue, we let go of the arrow and shot down at the Uruk hai. I know not whether my arrow found a mark or not, It was too dark and foggy even for my keen elven sight too see much of the orcs. I loaded my bow again but did not fire, for out of the corner of my eyes, I saw a group of the enemy coming into the fortress through a breach in the wall.
"Aragorn, There is a matter of great importance that I must discuss with you"
"Go ahead Legolas." said Aragorn.
"The enemy are coming in through a breach in the walls. They will have entered the gate in a matter of minutes." I informed him.
The expression on my companions face told me that he was more worried than I had originally thought.
"Find Eomer and take him there, try to fight them off." he ordered
I nodded then ran to the post designated for the Cavalry, who were purposed to fight the Uruks head on hoping that they have not left yet. They hadn't they were still preparing and trying to calm down their horses. I walked up to Eomer and repeated my message.
"Hama!, he called to one of his men. "Fetch a horse for our master elf." The man nodded, then rode off to the stable. A few minutes later the man emerged, leading a black stallion, it bore no saddle. I thanked the man then got on.
"Noro Lim" I muttered to the horse and we dashed off, with Eomer behind me.
Before we reached the orcs, I stopped my horse, loaded my bow then shot. This time I knew my arrow found its way on an Uruk for I heard the blood curling shriek. I drew out the sword that Eomer gave to me and then once again I kicked off. An Uruk ran up to me, but before it could hurt me, I slashed off it's head. I did the same to another.
"Legolas!" cried a voice that I recognized as my dear friend Gimli. He was with a troop led by Aragorn.
Between our party, we defeatered the orcs with ease.
"Legolas: !5" said Gimli, he held up a very bloody ax.
I laughed and said: " 12 more or less"
