Story idea, being prepared before going to a universe

Just a idea I have for a story where somebody has a year to prepare and a dimensi9nal bubble to store shit in. Want to see if this idea gains traction before writing story. Full discription of story inside.

I have had this idea rattling around in my head for a while about doing a RWBY self insert story but instead of the typical you get somehow sent into a universe unprepared except for your knowledge of said universe you actually have time to prepare.

The main story would revolve around a person being approached by a being and told they have a year to prepare and a dimensional bubble to store shit they buy and want in.

This bubble would be a set width and not too big but still big enough for clothes, food, vehicles, guns, etc. after the year is up the being comes back teleports the person to the universe and then they go and do their thing.

If anybody would be interested in this idea just let me know.

Want to see if this idea would get any traction and if you want to take this idea and make a story around it plz do, more the merrier I say.
