The wind fluttered their Fire Nation clothes. They seemed to be dancing embers as they flew away on Appa's back, hidden in a small cloud.
Aang and Katara went through little bending motions, swiveling their hands on their wrists.
Aang glanced around at his companions. Toph sat lazily back on her elbows. Sokka was hunched over with feet sprawled out before him. Katara was sitting up straight with her legs folded beneath her.
She caught his eye. Her hair whipped around her face.
She noticed him looking at her rather indolently and she became self-conscious of her movements. "What is it Aang?" A slight blush tinted he cheeks.
Aang kept mechaninally bending and he did not look away in embarresment. "I just miss your hair loopies."

Author's note: Does anyone remeber when Sokka lost his boomerang and he said he lost his identity? Sokka also said that Katara would feel the same way if she lost her hair loopies. I wonder if she feels that this is true. I must assume so. So it just came to me out of nowhere that Aang lazily says that he misses them, because her Fire Nation disguise does not allow for hair loopies. But Aang probably thinks that she looks hot with her new outfit and hair style. But he can miss her hair loopies too!
