He's there
Standing at the back of the ship looking out to the vast sea was janet. She could still feel him near her, she could still hear his voice and feel his arms around her. Janet peered over the railing wondering how far she would fall and how bad it would hurt on contact. Maybe for a spilt second she'd feel the way daniel did when he fell over the side, leaving her alone in the world.
The ocean waves crashed against the side of the ship. It was an accident, they say, he tripped and fell over the side. Janet knew better then to believe such stories. She decided to cling onto the fact that someone pushed him. Daniel knew how to swim but in the semi- frigid waters would he have been able to survive? Why didn't someone help him?
Janet stepped up on the railing and looked farther over the side. Sam thought they'd find him afloat in the, now, icy waters, but all that was found was his frozen body barely floating in the water.
As soon as janets eyes landed on the man she loved who was now frozen stiff, she lost it. She screamed, cried and made threats. She walked off to be alone and that's how she found herself at the back of the ship looking over.
With a shaky and unsure breath janet put one leg over the railing and placed it firmly on the other side. She sighed as she placed both feet on the other side. She looked down and there crashing and moving at a rapid speed was the ocean.
The sounds of the waves called to her, saying be part of us. Janet leaned farther over the side. Her thoughts were filled with daniel as her heart was filled with the bitter cold sting of loss.
Janet looked up to the setting sun. Her mind asking what should I do? 'Jump!' The sky seemed to call to her in a breath of wind.
Suddenly Janet heard foot steps come up from behind her. It was now or never. She heard voices calling her name, she didn't want to hear. She closed her eyes as her grip loosened on the railing.
"Daniel…" Janet whispered as she let go. Her eyes stayed shut as she fell into the ocean. The cold waters incased her like a blanket.
She couldn't think as she sunk and her lungs burned for air. She felt her senses turn to mush as she fell out of the world.
Suddenly she felt warm hands grasp at her arms. She reached out to the warmth, "Janet…why did you do it?" Janet heard a very familiar voice call. "Daniel.." Janet whispered as she opened her eyes to meet the sky blue eyes of daniel Jackson.
He smiled warmly at her as she coughed lightly, "Daniel, where are we?" Janet asked as she sat up. They seemed to be in a pathway. "Is this…is this the pathway to heaven?" Janet asked as Daniel nodded, "I want to walk it with you." Daniel said as they both stood up. Janet took daniels hand into her own and together they began their journey to the after life.
