New York city. A young boy wanders around a local park when a strange noise breaks the silence. He runs home to tell his parents in which they call the army. The army sends out a helicopter to search for the creature who made the noise but they come up empty handed. " Maybe it was just your imagination" say's the mother" " It wasn't my imagination I swear" says the boy. " Then why haven't anyone else reported it?" Says the father. The boy runs up to his room and slams the door. Meanwhile a large track way of footprints is discovered in the park were the boy heard the noise. "This is starting to creep me out" says the army officer, "see I told you" says the boy. The noise happens again and this time everyone hears it. The monster Gigan starts terrorizing New York. The army quickly reacts and sends out tanks to shoot Gigan. Before they have a chance to shoot Gigan, Gigan shoots his laser beam to blow the tanks up. The army sends 2 nuclear missiles to shoot Gigan and it works. It appears that Gigan has been defeated but then rises from the rubble around him. He gives out a loud roar and starts smashing down buildings. The ground begins to shake as Godzilla appears and blasts Gigan with his atomic breath. Gigan gets up and shoots out ropes to pull Godzilla towards his spinning blade on his stomach. Godzilla starts to slide towards Gigan. Just as he is about to be churned up he blasts his atomic breath at the spinning blade destroying it for good. Gigan releases his grip on Godzilla and uppercuts him into The Empire State building. Godzilla then smashes down the Chrysler building but doesn't destroy the pointed tip, instead he uses it as a knife and tries to stab Gigan with it. Gigan shoots it with his laser beam and destroys it, Gigan then uppercuts Godzilla again into a crane. Godzilla tail slams Gigan into a church before blasting Gigan with his atomic breath. Gigan swipes Godzilla with his claws before tripping him and stomping on his neck. Godzilla gets up and tail whips Gigan to the ground. Gigan tries to roll away but Godzilla picks him up and hurls him into the ocean, Godzilla then blasts the spot were he threw Gigan. Godzilla then waits to see if his opponent has survived but nothing happens. Godzilla roars in victory and stomps away. Meanwhile under the ocean Gigan slowly swims away fooling Godzilla.
