Ok. I personally think that Ozai is evil. However...I thought it'd be interesting to see him shown in a new light. So, I wrote this poem that's supposed to show how he felt about what he did to Zuko. Anywayz, please read and review, and I hope you like it!
My son…
I still recall when you were born,
It hasn't always been this way.
You haven't always been forlorn,
But you and I began to stray.
The day you came into my world,
Your mother, overwhelmed with joy,
Just took you in her arms and twirled,
For you were now her little boy.
But then that horrible day came,
And everything began to change.
We now can never be the same,
For everything is really strange.
You spoke out loud against the plan,
To save the lives of stupid men.
That insolence I could not stand,
I made my greatest mistake then.
I burnt my son with fire blasts,
A scar that he would bear for life.
That moment seemed to past so fast,
And now it stabs me like a knife.
For now I know we can't go back,
After this long, it's far too late.
When it comes to fathering, I lack,
But sorry, son, for this is fate.
