Symmetry Day!
It was a normal morning in Death City. It was exactly 8:00 am and this was Kid's favorite time of the day.
Liz tossed and turned in her bed. Bang, Bang, Bang.
Liz looked around. Patty was sound asleep with her giraffe under one arm.
'What's going on?" Liz asked herself.
She walked down the perfectly symmetrical stairs to the perfectly symmetrical living room.
Kid was there, putting up decorations.
"Kid. What are you doing?" Liz asked the reaper's son.
"Today is my favorite holiday! I made sure to make the decorations symmetrical."
Liz looked at the calendar.
"What holiday? Its only August 8."
"Today is." Kid's eyes became big and sparkly. "Symmetry Day!"
Liz shook her head. She expected this much from him.
"What do you do on Symmetry Day?" Liz asked.
"You invite symmetrical friends for a symmetrical party." Kid said.
"Ya. Ok." Liz walked back up the stairs. "Be quiet! I have to sleep." She called.
Liz woke at 9:00 and walked down stairs, fully dressed and ready to fight kishin. She just didn't expect a party there.
"Hey! Liz!" Maka waved.
"Over here, Sis!" Patty laughed.
Soul was talking to Kid and Black Star and Crona was with Maka, Tsubaki, and Patty.
"Kid invited everybody in Death City for a symmetry party." Tsubaki said. "We're the only ones that showed up."
"Well, thanks for coming." Liz said.
The girls partied for hours and soon everybody fell on the couch.
"That was cool. What time is it?" Soul asked, lazily.
"It-it's 8-8:10" Crona said.
"No! This party ends at 8:08! For symmetry day, you have to start and leave at exactly 8:08!" Kid pouted. "You have to stay here until tomorrow morning!"
"Ok, Kid." Liz said. "Just relax."
"No one tells the all mighty, Black Star, when to start and stop partying!" Black Star yelled, standing on the table.
"You're not standing symmetrically!" Kid yelled. He fell to the floor and fainted.
"Alright everybody! Thanks for coming! You can leave. Patty, help me take him up the stairs." Liz said.
"Ok, Sis!" Patty chimed.
"Bye, Liz and Patty! That was fun!" Maka waved.
"It wasn't that cool." Soul put his hands in his pockets.
"THE ALL MIGHTY BLACK STAR WAS HERE! THIS PARTY WAS AMAZING WITH ME!" Black Star shouted.
"Of course, Black Star." Tsubaki said.
"I don't kn-know how to d-d-deal with this." Crona stuttered.
"Hush, runt. They didn't even have good food!" Ragnarok pouted.
"Why is nothing symmetrical?" Kid whimpered to himself as Liz and Patty dragged him up the stairs.
