Title: And Though She is Little, She is Fierce
Characters: Samantha Carter, Jack O'neill, Cameron Mitchell, Teal'c, Daniel Jackson, Vala Mal Doran
Rating: M
Summary: Sam is taken by a matriarchy society (a society in which women hold all positions of authority) where her memories are wiped and it's up to SG1 to save her before it's too late.
Author Notes: This story is set about a year after the crew of the destiny went into stasis, so Sam is commander of the George Hamond, Jack's retired, and the rest of Sg1 has gone their separate ways.

"How's the newest intake doing? "The councilwoman asked impatiently, her voice bouncing violently off the walls of the small isolation room. "Will we be able to salvage her or not?"

"Councilwoman, I must ask you to keep your voice down. We don't want to risk waking her up again." I simply replied, my voice almost a whisper.

"Again!?" She questioned, her voice steadily rising. "She already woke up? When? Why was I not informed of this!?"

"Councilwoman, please." I cautioned, looking over to the woman who is peacefully sleeping on the bed. "She woke up the day before last, took out two dozen personal, and made it halfway across the base before we could subdue her. Luckily no one got hurt too badly. And by the way, you were informed, it was in my most recent report, if... you bothered to read it."

"What do you think we should do with her then?" She huffed.

"As I wrote in my report, the last time I saw something like this was with a male intake, so I would have to recommend that the council not try to salvage her. In fact, I believe that the only way for her to adapt to our society is to have her memory completely wiped and even then there's no guarantee she'll fit in."

"That's quite extreme." She pondered, "Would that really be better than releasing her back to where we found her."

"Yes councilwoman, it is." I gently reminded her. "I know that you're new at being a member of the council, but I've been off world many times and I've seen first hand how poorly women are treated on other planets. So believe me that erasing her memories is the best course of action."

"Surely Latet is not the only planet with women leadership?" She tried to argue as she walked over to the woman on the bed. "There must, at the very least, be somewhere out there where women are at least treated with respect."

"We all wish that were true, but we have visited hundreds of worlds and have no evidence to prove it." I assured her walking to stand beside her. "Don't worry she'll be given the best care available."

"But what if it isn't enough?"

I'll continue if there is interest.

Don't worry if I continue, the chapters will be much longer.
