I sat in the sand and watched them silently. He had his arms wrapped around her and he was gazing down at her as if she was a goddess. I had to admit she was but it should be me holding her tenderly in my arms not Seth. But no. Thats not the way she wanted it. Seth was more important to her.
I groaned and lay down in the sand. It was hard to admit but to the people around me it was so obvious. I was still madly in love with her. It killed me inside to see her so wrapped up in Seth but thats what imprinting does to you. It rips your heart out and steps on it. I sighed and let my mind wander to that day when she was taken away from me forever.
We were lay on the beach, gazing lovingly into each others eyes. She gently stroked my cheek and smiled.
"I love you Embry" She whispered, never once breaking eye contact with me. I wrapped my hand around hers and grinned back.
"I love you to Becky" I told her truthfully. She moved herself closer to me and bought her lips up to mine. I kissed her back passionately as her hand got tangled my hair, pushing herself closer to me. I moaned and my hand travelled along her bare thigh. I hitched her leg around my waist and she smiled against my lips. She used this new position to her advantage. She flipped over so that she was on top of me, her knees either side of my waist. Her hands rested on my chest as she caught her breath. She smiled at me and pushed her hair behind her ear and leant down to kiss me again. Our lips were about to touch when we heard a cough behind us. Becky's head snapped up instantly and she locked eyes with Seth.
All of our lives changed in that instant. Seth and Becky were now complete and i was . . .well broken. Without her i would never be happy.
I heard her giggle and i closed my eyes. I needed her in my arms, in my life. Life has been painful since that day and only she can fix everything. I can still picture her face perfectly in my mind even though its been 3 months since ive had enough control to even look at her. Her slim face. Her long brown hair. Her green eyes. Her rosy cheeks. Her full pink lips. I quickly shook my head. Just thinking about her was torture.
I pushed myself up and took a deep breath. It would be impossibly hard but i have to get over her. I quickly glanced over to them and sighed. Seth was hovering over her with his hand on her back. She had her arms around his neck and they were kissing passionately. I turned round and walked toware the forest, where i phased and ran to wherever my feet would take me.
