Sorry if it's not like Stephenie Meyers Twilight, but I'm English and don't call car parks 'parking lots' or pavements 'sidewalks'. This is an experimental chapter, so tell me if you like it or not so I can continue or leave the idea alone. Thanks! x

I glanced around the car park, waiting for Angela. Where was she? It was school time, and she was almost NEVER late. I sighed, and began to walk inside the school, Forks High School, checking everyone's cars out on the way. There was Edward Cullen's shiny Volvo standing out. Swoon. He is SO hot! As Edward Cullen himself got out of the car, I heard a thundering noise. I looked up at the sky. My hair would get RUINED if it rained. And I didn't want to run into THE Edward Cullen looking a mess. I was still blushing from last time.

*Flashback*

"Hello… I'm Jessica. You must be new here." I smiled, walking up to Edward Cullen. He'd been at the school for a couple weeks now. I wanted to prove that he would like me against all of the other girls in the school that he had turned down."Hello, I'm Edward." He replied in a quiet, cold , he looked up at the teacher that was speaking in this English lesson, and I saw his gorgeous face. Nice lips, and gold eyes that made me weak-kneed. Suddenly my mind was thinking about kissing him, my body pressing against his…

Edward Cullen moved away immediately, and I looked at him, confused."Er…?" I murmured, confused and feeling rejected."I don't date." He replied in a ice cold voice, which was sharp and to be honest, scared me a little. Then the bell went. He jumped up quickly, and ran out. Saved by the bell.

*End of Flashback*

"Sorry Jess!" Angela called. She was running, and I realised that I was still looking up at the sky. There were no signs of rain, so I looked around the car park and saw an old rusty truck, that was making a noise so loud, I could of sworn that it was the thunder overhead in the sky.

"Lets get inside." I replied in a annoyed voice. "It sounds like that girls car is taking over for the weather." Angela dropped her head, and nodded. I felt a tiny bit sorry for her. But she was late. By a few minutes, but late is late! I walked into the school, with Angela by my side, and walked straight to Eric, Mike and a couple of guys there. There were a few girls scattered in with them, and one squealed my name. "Jessica!" I followed where the voice was coming from, and my eyes were met with Laurens. "There's a new girl!" She told me loudly. "Her name is Bella Swan and she comes from Pheonix. She drives that loud car-""It's a truck! And it's a Chevy." Mike corrected her."I don't care." Lauren rolled her eyes. "Anyways, she drives that old truck, and she lives with Chief Swan. You know, Charlie. She used to live with her mom, but she had to come here.""Why?" I asked her, and her face turned confused. "I don't know. I haven't met her yet."

"Okay." I shrugged, and turned away. "I'll see you guys later."I met Bella Swan in Trigonometry and Spanish, where I sat next to her. Every one noticed me, and I soaked up the attention that didn't come often.
