She stares at the note on the counter, feeling her heart warm.

Clary,

I'll be home soon. Don't worry about me. You have my heart.

She grins widely, a warmth spreading through her.

"I'll see you soon, Jace," she says into open air, grabbing her keys to head over to Simon's, feeling Jace beside her in her heart.

It's that one thing that keeps me aliveHe paces the floor before Maryse and Robert in their house in Idris.

"I don't know how to do it! What happens if she rejects?" he asks worriedly, stopping in front of Maryse. She places a delicate hand on his shoulder.

"She'll do it, Jace. She loves you," she reassured him.

He grins at her. "I know. It's so hard to be away from her, Maryse," he groans. She looks fondly over to Robert, who is fiddling with something on the windowsill.

"I know, Jace. Go home. You have a long day tomorrow," she tells him sweetly, shooing him out the door.

She flops down on Isabelle's bed, staring up at her ceiling.

"I miss him so much," she complains to Isabelle. "I can't wait until he comes home."

"Imagine if you guys were actually siblings. Eew," Isabelle says lightly, putting on her make-up.

She looks at her curiously. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to crash a party a Magnus's. Alec's going to be there, so why not? You can come too," she replies nonchalantly.

"Sounds fun. It should get my mind off of Jace for a little while," Clary agrees, getting up.

No one else knows the feeling inside
We hang up the phone without saying goodnight

"I'll be home tomorrow," he tells Clary through the phone.

"I can't believe that you went to Idris without me!" she cries, faking hurt. He grins.

"I miss you," he says to her.

"I miss you too. I'll be waiting at the airport at noon," she reminds him.

"Alright," he says, hanging up the phone, and turns off the light.

She fidgets excitedly as she waits for him in the airport. She sees him enter the lobby of the airport, fidgeting with something in his pocket.

"JACE!" she calls as he's closer. His head snaps up, and as he sees her, a smile lights up his face. She rushes into his arms, wrapping her legs around his hips, smothering him with kisses. He nudges her to get down. She complies. He gets down onto one knee.

"Clarissa Fray-Morgenstern, will you please marry me?" he asks me.

"YES!" she squeals, kissing him again and again.

Ahh...so cute. :]
