A/N: I just saw Promises, Prom-Misses and I had to write this. It's just a little gooey-drabble to keep your Channy desire occupied while I work on my next chapter of Chance of Snow. I've been sick so it's taking a tad bit longer than planned. Anyways, enjoy! Oh, and Sonny With A Chance does not belong to me.

Electrifying Disaster-Repair

"Thank you," Sonny smiled up at her undesignated "date." He returned her smile and for once, it was a real smile and not just some made-to-order, camera smile. All of a sudden, as quickly as it had came, the smile vanished and turned into a downward frown.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he scoffed.

"Thank you for this. Thank you for dancing with me and thank you for making prom not such a terrible disaster. Even if I am wearing a fish-suit."

But it is a rater cute fish-suit, Chad thought before mentally slapping himself. What was he thinking? He had already done too much by dancing with her and not even looking at Tawni who was all over him. He let his guard down around Sonny once again and he had to stop doing that. He didn't want her getting the wrong idea – or right idea – or whatever idea it was. Stupid cute fish-suit!

"You're welcome," he shrugged as though making her whole night meant nearly nothing to him.

"So, do you still think all proms end in disaster?" Sonny asked, looking up at him, her brown eyes wide and sparkling even more than the faux-scales poorly sewn on her dress.

"That depends," Chad answered nonchalantly.

"On what?" Sonny asked.

The lights were dimming as they became nearer and nearer to being all the way off. Everyone else had already left but Sonny and Chad had lingered. They had just started talking and now they had become so close that Sonny could feel the heat of Chad's body radiate through hers. Her breath was quickening and her heartbeats were choppy, unrestrained. She didn't know why exactly he made her feel this way, but he did. He always did.

Chad took another step closer to Sonny. He could almost taste the perfume that was exuding from her skin that was left bare. He felt a instant flush claim his cheekbones and couldn't explain the uneasiness of his heart beating. He reached up and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. The gesture gave them both electric chills.

"On this."

Chad brought her face closer to his, reached down, and let his lips claim hers. The kiss was everything both had dreamed of. The fire, the heat, the passion, everything was as a scene from a movie – it just couldn't be real. Finally, both pulled away, thirsting for breath, hungering for more, lips lingering close. Sonny panted, shock and lack of oxygen going to her head. Chad, too, was stunned at what he had just done.

"So," Sonny looked down at the floor, a smile creeping gently across her face, "Is it still a disaster?"

And with a single motion of Chad's lips colliding with hers, Sonny had her answer.
