OKAY! now I'm on a roll!
This fanfic was written because, frankly,The Nerissa saga was the best part of the comic. REALLY! this was my opinion of Nerissa while I was reading the comic. wasn't she a really nice person before the whole killing cassidy thing? It was kinda unbelievable.
SO I BRING YOU AN EXPLANATION!
It had been over six years since Cassidy died. It was not only hard for her family,but her guardians of the veil faced all kinds of misery, and not just because they had to save the world(s.). It was because they lost two friends, one was dead,and the other might as well have been. The girls were like a family,obviously the had there problems,thats how the whole tragedy was a great leader,she was a great person. How the heart of Kandrakar made her obsessed, was beyond all explanation.
It was Cassidy's twenty-first birthday, Halinor dragged Yan Lin along to come visit her grave. Being at a cemetery was always had such a quiet landscape, the wind was always so still, no birds singing or squawking. The feeling was always grim,especially in Halinor's and Yan Lin's position. A friend killed by another friend. There was only three of them,if you can count Kadma.
There they stood, infront of Cassidy's grave. "Happy Birthday..." Yan Lin sadly started, she smiled and softly set a bouquet of roses infront of her tomb stone. "We miss you a lot, you know...I wonder, how it's like in heaven." Halinor continued,tears streamed down her face from every word she spoke. The first couple of years of Cassidy's death was the worst. Everyone was just so lost , with Nerissa being a killer and Cassidy being the killed.
Death was the most intriguing thing there ever was. One of the most asked questions was, 'where will I go when I die?' even though religion pled that there was an explanation,nobody is truthfully one hundred percent sure what lies beyond our physical world. Thus, it terrifies everyone.
'These girls honestly thought they were invincible!' a council member shouted in Kandrakar just afterword Nerissa's crime. The scene rung through Halinor's mind. "
"Is it any wonder one of them betrayed us,and killed her fellow guardian!" tears flowed down Halinor's face,this was too much to handle,she was just a kid. "STOP!" Kadma shouted "How dare you! it wasn't our fault! none of us expected this to happen, and you...you think you have the god damn right to judge us WHILE ALL YOU DID WAS SIT HERE WITHOUT A WORRY IN THE FUCKING WORLD!" the whole council was shocked by her bold speech. The council member was insulted,even though Kadma was right. "No worry's! Of course we were worried with you as the protectors of our whole world!" Yan lin tred to calm Kadma,but she wouldn't listen "we did all we could!" Halinor shouted, jumping into the argument. The Oracle was somehow patient with the debate ,but never the less it had to stop,"Please, you must stop now,both of you." . The council member couldn't let go,"Oracle, I respect that you want this to stop, but these girl made everything chaotic, you can't let them go unpunished!".
"very well...I'll decide what the consequence shall be." both Kadma and Halinor tensed up,"Oracle, I don't want to argue with you, but why do we have to punished? this wasn't our fault." Halinor replied "Because you let Nerissa get that way." Yan Lin was beyond worried, for such a mistake,their consequence must be fierce . "Thats BULL SHIT!" Kadma Screamed. Halinor shook her head "I AGREE!"
And as there punishment, Kadma and Halinor were banished from Kandrakar,relived from their duty as a guardian.
But they were right.
SHORT chapter, but it kinda had to be.
Well I'm gonna work on Malice for a while so I probably won't update this in some time.
