You close your eyes as the water fills your room

Good bye, Murdoc

This was it for you. Your short life would be over soon.

I've know you the longest, I think. You are one of my best mates. I was a bit angry when you took Paula, but that's okay.

You live a good life, you think. Maybe, this was just your time to go.

Good bye, Russel.

You would die and never get to see your family again. Never get to feel sun on your back until it burned or sidewalk under your feet.

I've know you nearly as long as I've know Murdoc. We may not have talked much, but you were another one of my best mates. I'm sorry I got ya with my bike.

It occurs to you, you have no idea if any of your family is even alive any longer. Noodle, you were almost certain, had been dead and gone for a long time.

Good bye, Noodle.

Maybe, you would be reunited with her, rather it be in heaven or in hell, you would have your little luv back soon enough.

Noodle, I haven't known you long, but it feels like I've know you all my life. You helped me find the sun again. You picked me up when I was down and, though you probably never knew it, helped keep my head above water. It's a tragedy I have to go so soon, I'd give you one last hug before I go, but, you left before I could...I love you, my little luv.

As the whale that has been torturing you for so long finally broke through the wall separating you from the water, you close your eyes, whispering your final good byes.

Good bye, Gorillaz. I love you guys...

" We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun. But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time."

A/N: Let me explain. So, when I was 8, the day I nearly drowned, the song 'Seasons in The Sun' was playing either in our car or on the boat. Me being me, thought it was a particularly sad song and turned it off. Welp, years and years later, I remembered the song and looked it up. Then my stepdad started singing it. So I wrote this little ditty. Hope ya liked it. Thanks for reading :D

disclaimers: I own nothing

Song this fic was inspired by: Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks
