The Shirt off His Back

Dean sat at the foot of a tree, left hand clamped firmly to his bleeding side, shotgun ready in his right hand.

"Dean!" Sam suddenly appeared, running full-tilt towards the tree. Sam dropped to his knees, grabbing his sweatshirt and yanking it off. "I got the fugly," he said, removing Dean's hand and replacing it with his still inside-out sweatshirt. Pressing down hard, Sam wrapped it around Dean's chest and tied the sleeves tightly together, holding the makeshift bandage in place.

Sam removed the shotgun from Dean's hand, working on the best way to get his brother to the Impala.
