Chapter 1: Ri

Cloud didn't know why he said yes to teaming up with this new person in AVALANCHE. Rumors had it that she was very similar to him inn some ways but very different. Like the person was very wild and dangerous but once worked for the military. But there were other rumors about this person. She hated Sephiroth as much as he. Cloud walked though the doors.

Cloud jumped in surprise when he saw the girl he jumped. What kind of trick was this!? This girl was young. Well then again so was he. Ok, the girl wasn't the youngest person. Yuffie was sixteen.

"You're Rian?" Cloud as looking at the strange girl. She looked at Cloud. She had forest green eyes and short ear length boyish hair. The girl was dressed oddly. She wore black 'scrunchie' boots; black boot cut pants, and a white shirt with a black jacket that reached her knees.

"Yup. I'm your girl." the girl replied. "But you can call me Ri. Your Cloud am I right?" She asked. The girl had two long gloves similar to his but with one longer underneath each.

Cloud nodded. "I thought you were a guy when I first heard about you." Cloud grumbled. "Gee. That's nice to know I feel so special." Ri replied. Cloud knew it wasn't going to be easy working with this girl. He already hated her guts and he barely knew her.

"Just be quiet and come on." Cloud grumbled. "Yes sir." Ri said sarcastically but following. "GAH!" Ri screamed. Cloud turned around to see Ri on the floor. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD SEPHIROTH!" She screamed holding her head. Cloud realized now he too was on the floor holding his head and screaming in pain.

Cloud woke up and looked around. He looked down to see he was in a bed. Barret came over. "Sephiroth is up to his old tricks eh? That girl carried you over here before she blacked out herself." Barrett said looking at Cloud.

Cloud got up. Barret didn't stop him. He limped over to Ri. Ri's eyes opened. "I see you made it." She said softly. "I'm the servant of Sephiroth."
