Nicole Riddle
(The story basically takes place after book five. Harry and that lot are now in year six.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~First day back at Hogwarts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A loud flutter of wings erupted throughout the hall. Harry looked up trying to spot Hedwig amongst the flurry of owls trying to deliver their individual packages to their owners. Then he spotted her swooping down towards him. As usual she had the Daily Prophet for him. Hedwig landed softly on the table in front of Ron and slowly walked over to Harry. She dropped the newspaper and hooted softly. Harry patted her on the head and Hermione gave her a piece of bacon before she flew off to get some rest.
Harry unrolled the Daily Prophet and on the front page was a picture of a young lady. She must have only been the same age as him. He stared at her perplexed by her eyes. They were bright blue and they reminded him of someone.
'OH SHIT!!!' Ron's shout broke Harry's trance. He had spilled his entire bowl of cereal down his front. 'You better get changed' exclaimed Hermione. As Ron left the hall the Slytherin table erupted with laughter. No one laughed louder than Draco Malfoy.
'One day I'm gonna punch that git' Hermione said, more to herself than to Harry. When she didn't get a reply from him she looked over to see why he wasn't listening. Shuffling over to Harry she saw the article he was reading.
After 3 years in Azkaban Nicole Riddle has been released. Accused of killing 3 highly respected wizards she was finally caught at the
of 13. Albus Dumbledore helped free her. She was set free last week and Albus has
allowed her to attend Hogwarts.
Hermione shocked expression matched exactly what Harry was thinking. 'I never knew Voldemort had a daughter!' 'Neither did I' replied Hermione. 'And please don't say that name!'
