She was known as Emma's sidekick in 7th grade and in 8th grade.
In grade 9, that all changed. She was the school slut, boyfriend stealer, and the girl who had an abortion.
(A/N: This is just a recap on all the things that happened in 9th grade, so don't close this window on me, just read it)
You can definitely say that she changed her image. Thongs, low riders, and crop tops were added to her closet. Whenever she wore them, she caught everyone's attention.She didn'tcare what people thought, just as long as she got attention. That's when Manny gained hatersbut screw them, she always thought. After changing her look, she lost all her friends, but who needs friends when you're hot? Then, Manny "fell in love" with the wrong guy, Craig. He was already taken and she went after him anyway. This caused her to get pregnant and have an abortion. It always broke Ashley's heart to hear that Craig cheated on her. Finally, after all that screwing up, Manny toned her image down a bit. Through all of that drama she knew she was doing something wrong. The girl just wanted people to actually look at her and see that she's somebody.
The next year, she was still considered the school slut. You would think that after getting knocked up, she would stop hooking up? Please, that didn't stop her at all. In fact, she started something down at the ravine. Yup, she was the one who started all that shit. Her reputation was getting worse. She was a drug dealer while she started hanging out with Jay and his crew. She enjoyed it too, she knew it was something illegal, but that only made it more fun. Manny didn't just sell drugs she used them to float away to paradise and just for a few moments she could escape reality, she thought they would help her problems. But then those moments would end and she would have to come back to reality. Manny's parents found out about the drugs and the ravine, so they were starting to become very strict. She was sick of all their rules, she just wanted control, control over anything. So she started to cut and have an eating disorder.
Manny also gained another reputation... She was the life ruiner and everything was her fault.
And who's life did she ruin? She especially ruined her own life. After she got pregnant, she lost her trust with her parents. Remember, Manny also killed a baby, her own baby! The poor thing didn't even have a chance to live a full life and who ruined it? Manny Santos. Who ruined Ashley Kerwin's life by stealing the love of her life? Manny Santos. Who passed around STD's after hooking up with a bunch of guys? Manny Santos. And whose friends ditched her because she wanted to be hot? Manny Santos. Who made Craig worried about not having sex again? Manny Santos.
Yup, everything was Manny's fault. You see, Manny was never like this before. Right? She used to be such an innocent girl. She was always acting like nothing could ever be wrong. She could barely harm a fly. But things change. Manny didn't care anymore. She didn't care about life. So, she tried to ruin it in even more in every possible way she could.
Oh yeah, I guess you can say Manny Santos was all smiles, she was still all smiles. After all, she was "smileygurl."
Though,that was only in her dreams. Manny wanted to be free she wanted to get away from all her problems. So, she commited suicide so she can be forever in her dreams sleeping peacefully in the heavens, where she can truly remain Mannuela Santos - "smileygurl."
