According to Kurt, Rachel Berry always had everything, everything he wanted. From solos to guys, Rachel was always a winner. But this time, she had crossed the line. A thin line he didn't even know they had drawn over the years. It first started when Rachel set her eyes on Finn, the boy Kurt had had a crush on since...since he couln't remember when! Of course, they just had to date. But it was irrevelent now as Finn is now part of his family. Then she just had to get every solos! Of course, Kurt couldn't have one. Kurt wasn't as good as miss Berry, according to her and mister Schuester. As if it wasn't enough, she started dating that Jesse kid and he ruined their chances to win the Regionals.

Kurt had, however, put all those things in the past at the beginning of Junior year. But he couldn't deny it anylonger! At a party, Rachel kissed Blaine! Blaine, his Blaine, his gay Blaine. And Blaine liked it! It wasn't just a drunken mistake. Rachel had kissed Blaine while sober and they both liked it and they started dating. It's been official 2 weeks and 3 hours and Kurt couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't keep seeing Blaine at school and he couldn't go back to McKingley with Rachel and, more importantly, Karofsky. So he did the only thing he could think of.

When New Directions won at Regionals and then at Nationals, it was like a punch in the face and ,from this moment, he knew that whatever he did, Rachel Berry did it better. And everything he had, Rachel Berry would have it bigger.
