All I Ask of You
Paige had been captured by the gunman. She was trying to get the innocent people in the bank to safety when he found her. He knew she was a part of Scorpion. He knew Walter and the rest of the team were coming for her, as he discovered that she had a com in her ear. He ripped out the com and pointed a gun to her head. He said that Walter will never get to her in time, and will kill him if he tried. She was terrified. Not only for herself, but for Walter, Ralph, and the rest of the team too.
She tried to distract herself with happy thoughts about her life with Walter and Ralph so she wouldn't panic. They were the best things to ever happen to her and she didn't want to lose them. Suddenly, she saw Cabe out of the corner of her eye. Cabe shot the gunman and she immediately ran into Walter's arms and cried.
A Few Hours Later
Paige hasn't been able to leave Walter's side after they returned to the garage. Walter took her up to the loft to talk. "You're safe now, no one can hurt you. I'm here. I'll always protect you" he says.
"I was so scared back there. I was worried about you. He was going to try to kill you. The only reason I didn't panic before you got there was because I was thinking about us at the beach last summer when you said that you love me for the first time. That was one of the best days of my life, and I realized just how much I need you in my life. Today, I once again realized how much losing you would hurt me, and it's terrifying that I could lose you at any time" she admits.
"Paige, you're safe here. I'm safe here. Ralph is safe here. No bad guys are going to find us. I promise, I'm not going anywhere. I love you" he says.
Paige responds and says, "Promise that everything you say is true? That's all I ask of you. I wish these memories of that gun to my head would just disappear, but you know as well as I do that that will take time. I just want you always beside me, to hold me and to hide me."
"I'll always be with you Paige, no matter where you are. Allow me to always help you cope with these awful things that happen to us during cases. I hate seeing you this scared." He gets down on one knee and pulls out a ring and says, "Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime. Will you marry me?"
Paige breaks out into a huge smile and kisses him. "Yes, I will marry you Walter O'Brien!" He slips the ring onto her finger. She looks down at the ring and smiles.
Paige says, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I can't wait to share every day with you, every night, and every morning. I love you so much Walter."
"I love you too Paige."
"Love me, that's all I ask of you" she says. He responds with a kiss.
