This is not a continuance of The Beach Bash, but you could take it that way. You know what summer is like at Camp Half-Blood, but what about Christmas?
"C'mon Annabeth, pleaaaaase?!"
"No, Percy, I already told you why!"
"But it's so… soo cute!"
"I won't wear that stupid outfit and you won't make me!"
Now, this sounds pretty confusing, so what exactly is going on? Well, for Christmas, Percy, ever the adorable idiot, bought Annabeth a skimpy Santa Claus outfit, hoping that she'd wear it for him, but she isn't budging.
"But I already paid for it."
"Well, that's just too bad," Annabeth turned away form her longtime boyfriend with a huff.
And as this continued, a few boys were laughing at Percy and a few girls were giving him a death stare while rooting for Annabeth. The next thing anybody knew, Connor and Travis Stoll were right next to the bickering couple, placing the young couple in-between themselves.
"Well, Perce, we all know that our dearest Annie won't wear it," Travis started…
"So, can we have it?" Connor finished.
"Why do you want it?" Percy asked with a scowl.
"Annie," Travis seemingly ignored Percy's question. "Do you remember the prom dress incident?"
Annabeth thought for a second… The one name that popped into her head… "I thought it was Luke who did that!"
"That's what we wanted. Now, may be please have that adorable Santa costume?"
Line
It took a little string, some Celestial Bronze, a whole lotta butter, and a spoonful of mayonnaise, but they did it. Just like the summer of the prom dress, some clever sons of Hermes got Chiron in the skimpy Santa Claus costume that Percy had originally bought for Annabeth.
It was quite the Christmas.
And since the Santa costume didn't work, Percy did the back up plan, he gave Annabeth a mother of pearl necklace that he had gotten from the ocean. It wasn't as perfect as a pearl one would buy form the store, and he had threaded it himself, so it may come off at some point, but Annabeth loved it anyway.
