Frank was feeling absolutely terrified. He was sitting next to Hazel fiddling with a small box in his jacket pocket resting besides his piece of firewood. Hazel's cinnamon hair flowed gently in the wind and framed her lovely face and her golden eyes shined radiantly. Frank wasn't sure how he got this lucky on both the accounts of having Hazel and the fact that Nico consented to him marrying Hazel. He thought back to the conversation he'd had with the Son of Hades earlier:

-flashback-

Nico and Reyna were sword fighting—Reyna obviously dominating him— when Frank found him. They both turned and looked at him. He must of had some sort of look on his face because Reyna smirked and then told Nico they'd pick up more sword fighting later and whispered good luck in Frank's ear and walked away.

Nico turned to Frank, "You need something Zhang?"

"Uh, yeah," Frank said gathering up his courage. He was still nervous around Nico when they were chatting about Hazel.

"It's about Hazel."

Nico raised an eyebrow and thoughtfully drummed his fingers on his black sword. He nodded, motioning for Frank to continue.

"We-well, I've known Hazel for years now, and we've been through a lot together. And, and I really love her… So I was wondering if I could—" Frank's words caught in his throat.

Nico finished his sentence, "You want my permission to marry my younger sister?"

Frank blushed and nodded.

"Didn't I give you permission a long time ago when I asked if I could be the flower boy at your wedding?"

Frank's eyes widened, "So you're saying.."

"Right," Nico nodded and then jokingly added, "Will could be the ring bearer."

-end flashback-

"Frank? Something wrong? You've been quiet for five minutes now." Hazel brought him back to the present.

"Y-yeah." He stood up and she stood up with him. She seemed so much more grown up now and she was ridiculously gorgeous. "Hazel?" he clumsily got down on one knee. Hazel's eyes widened and tears sprung into her eyes. Her hands covered her mouth.

"Would you—" he started and then glanced out of the corner of his eye. "Oh my gods! Monsters!"

Hazel swiftly turned around. After ten minutes, Hazel and Frank stood in the previous position and Frank managed to finish his question.

Hazel's reply was of course "yes".
