"Percy Jackson is at the other camp, and he probably doesn't remember who he is." Jason said. There was deathly silence in the room, and no one was spoke anything. They all had worried and surprised expressions. Annabeth, on the other hand, had already started planning. The blueprints for building the ship… well, that was already taken care of. One less thing to worry about. But there were still so many unknown variables! How much time did they have until the giants came? Who would they bring to Greece, and who would be left behind to travel by more mundane means of travelling? She'd have to take a look at those blueprints, figure out how many people and how much weight it could carry.

And then, of course, there was the Romans. Where was the location of the Roman camp, exactly? Could they be trusted not to shoot them down at first sight? Or would they have to come in with metaphorical guns ablazing? Hmm, that would probably impress the Romans quite a bit, but it wouldn't improve the already shaky relationship between them.

It would be so much easier if Jason remembered more about his camp, but as it were, the only thing that they could do about his memories was wait and see. Hera (Juno, a whisper in the back of her mind said) had already returned to Olympus, and probably wouldn't help them any further. She let out a quiet groan and clenched her fist tightly.

It had been a bad, bad idea to make the Queen of Olympus angry, but at that time she was just so- so- reckless. Daughters of Athena were not supposed to be reckless. They were supposed to keep a calm head above everything (except, maybe, when it came to spiders), make a plan, and stick to it. And insulting the Queen of Gods? Was so not on the top of her to-do list.

But there was nothing she could do about it right now. She'd just have to keep on and bear the consequences. And cross her fingers, and pray to the Gods, that it wasn't Percy who would have to pay for her sins.

AN: So. Uh, I really don't know what I was doing. I was just re-writing some of my earlier fanfics and this… just sort of clicked. Honestly, I don't know how it came to be. Just a short introspection into Annabeth's character at the end of TLH. This isn't even a five-hundred words long, for God's sake, but I think it's publish-worthy.

I'd probably regret posting this, though.
